Jaws: The Revenge (1987)
Is this film even watchable? Possibly not, but here it goes anyway.
I can admit that I have actually had the toleration to watch this film from beginning to end, & the person that wrote this god awful screenplay should be banned from Hollywood as long as it's a mega billion dollar industry. Is the shark considered scary? ABSOLUTELY NOT. It is rather described as, "cute" in my eye. The mouth cannot even contain it's own movements, the teeth have the worst case of "human tartar" even for a robot that I have ever seen. Roger Ebert said it best when the shark rather looks like it had a bad case of tooth decay. Lance Guest has some poor acting performances with his on screen wife, but surprisingly had some nice moments with Mario Van Peebles whilst on the boat that they do their biologist researches work upon. Michael Caine does well in the movies that I have seen from him, & has a likable performance as Hoagie the adventurous pilot who has a whisk for living life to the fullest if you will. All & all, the movie was too short (87 minutes) As I say with ALL the 'Jaws' movies, they should've been rated 'R' for potential graphic violence, script was dull, & didn't make the most logical sense, so if you are trapped inside your place of residence on a snowy, or rainy afternoon, with nothing on your agenda & looking to waste some time, then this bore-fest is for you. If you're as knowledgeable & passionate about good movies, then I would suggest the original "Jaws", & "Jaws 2"
