Arrow: Kapiushon (2017)
Unnecessary
This series is just downhill. Boring, meaningless and derivative.
The Man in the High Castle: For Want of a Nail (2019)
Perfection
With a few arrangements in plot this could've easily been the series finale. So unexpected, so dramatic, all the thrust that had been put since the fourth series premiere just had a perfect climax in this episode. Still don't know how everything will unravel in the last episode, but this one really left the stakes higher.
Scandal: Over a Cliff (2018)
Terrible
Worst way to end a magnificent show. It betrayed everything that made Scandal an amazing television series. Lackluster, lukewarm and poorly written. The only reason I don't give it a lower rating is because of Kerry Washington's excellent performance.
The Punisher: The Whirlwind (2019)
I hope next season is better
Perfect closing to a mediocre season. All stories closed and finished, if and when there's a new season, at least there won't be any boring loose ends, like Billy Russo was.
Will producers cancel this one too, only because we lost Stan Lee? Were they in any way forced to make these TV series and now they don't feel obliged to?
How to Get Away with Murder: We Know Everything (2019)
Excellent
Everything about this season is just perfect. The acting, the script's twists, the characters. It looks as though this might be the series final season, taking into account how all past stories are starting to converge. I really hope that Shonda finishes this in a better fashion than she did with Scandal.
The Punisher: Flustercluck (2019)
Finally
A pleasantly surprising return to form, one that combines engaging drama with mild action sequences. Hopefully the remaining episodes with follow that line.
The Punisher: My Brother's Keeper (2019)
Excellent performances, poorly written
I really thought that this season would improve sooner or later, that Billy's story would be finished and all that soap opera drama about the therapist falling in love with their patient would be over. But as it turns out, we've Billy Russo for the rest of the season, changing all that cheap drama for a gang-army stravaganzza. And while all this takes place, the writers seem to have forgotten about the newest and far more interesting story, the one with which they started the season. Is there or will there be any consistency whatsoever, for the episodes left?
The Punisher: One Bad Day (2019)
Scathingly boring
One bad episode. No drive, no energy, no storytelling. Season one was perfection, and what should've been an excellent follow up is shaping up to be a slow-burn piece of mediocrity. I honestly hope that all this build up ends up in any satisfying fashion.
The Punisher: Scar Tissue (2019)
Boring
This season has had some of the most epic moments of the series so far, and even when past episodes have gotten more dramatic than action-packed, they're emotionally scarring and well-developed. This episode isn't either of those.
They took one of the most interesting characters, whose promise of an antagonist subplot was much awaited, and turned it into PTSD'd mediocrity. I really hope that Billy's part of the story gets much more interesting as the season progresses.
Mandy (2018)
Could've been better.
Acting was spot on and the cinematography beyond perfection. Script-wise, however, I think they could've played much more with the campy aspects of the plot, rather than with the pretentious and ambiguous development of the early story.
