- Adlin, who works in Bintulu, Sarawak, returned to his village for a holiday. As usual, every time he returns to the village, Adlin will visit Warung Pak Ajis to enjoy Mee Calong and chat. His return this time to meet his mother Mak Ton, his younger brother Isham and Esah after being in Bintulu for six months has brought an experience that he will not forget for the rest of his life. Together, Kadir, his village friend, Adlin went to Pak Ajis's shop. That night, after congregational prayer at the mosque Adlin and Kadir went to Pak Ajis's shop. Various incidents and signs that seem to indicate something bad will happen. After arriving at Pak Ajis's shop which is located by the bank of the river at the end of the village, as usual they started chatting until they started talking about horror stories. Pak Ajis, Adlin and Kadir also got a story telling companion, Noniswara, an Indian factory worker girl who was disturbed by the horror incident of riding a driver less bus on her way home from work that night. [2] The stories of Pontianak, Pochong, Orang Buian, Badi Mayat ("Mohini"/Chandra Murke - Legend of the ghosts of the Hindu community), Living Dead in the Steps of the Black Cat and Sampuk became their comforters that four nights.
