"Friday Night Lights"
Not only did NBC's "Friday Night Lights" offer a fresh take on the very American phenomenon that is high school football, it delivered in every possible way: great acting, moral lessons, heartbreaks and triumphs, and that certain nostalgic coziness that all great teen shows have. Plus, there's Connie Britton's hair, which is basically a character in itself.
