Supernatural Season 4
Supernatural's fourth season is its most expansive, insane and best season yet as the show changes its lore and introduces so many new things.
The show manages to still feel fresh this far in whereas other shows start to lose themselves even by this point. The introduction of angels into the show is fantastic. I think that they're such an interesting force of neither good nor evil and they're at their best this time.
The arc with Sam and Dean both drifting apart is also fantastic. Both are being roped in by either side. Sam by the demons and Dean by the angels and by the end of the season, it all makes sense.
Speaking of making sense, Season 4 manages to tie the entire show together. It starts off with a ton of loose ends and confusing plotlines that don't really merge together, and they take that and explain so much. Even going as far back and explaining what Azazel was doing in Sam's bedroom all those nights ago.
So yeah, Season 4 is easily the shows best up until this point. The storyline is fantastic, the episodes are some of the strongest and the characters are all fantastic and dynamic.
9.4/10.
