- I love being the queen of B movies. It's like staying in high school forever and being crowned prom queen every year.
- I'm so tall and aggressive that, at first, people are nervous around me. Then they realize that I'm a gentle giant. I've had love scenes with men who are 5'4". We make it work but it tends to be comical, like a poodle and German shepherd going at it.
- For me, posing in the nude is art. I take pride in my body and work out five days a week. To be chosen as [Penthouse] Pet of the Year when I was 31 was truly a blessing. I did their first video and CD-ROM. That year gave me the seed money to start my career. Most of my friends are centerfolds. I think sexy women rule the planet.
- I am the chick that they call when they want a gun-toting Amazon-bitch-Barbarella-merciless-bitch with a machine gun. Vampires, witches, sorceresses, double agents -- that's what I do and I like to headbutt people in fights and kick them and spit on them and bust them in the balls.
- [being older but still posing nude] I am already getting away with murder here at my age with modeling and having these photographers think I'm still a young model. I'm 41 and still making my living in a g-string. It's a lot of work, I'm at the gym every morning.
- [on becoming a glamour photographer] Seeing my beautiful girlfriends laying around the backyard naked and having a camera just sitting on the shelf, I just go aargh! I have to capture that image! I didn't think I could do it, but I took the film to the lab, and boom, magic!
- [her sexy symbol career starting in her late 30s] It's probably better that it happened that way (laughs). I didn't look too swift when I was real young, kind of too skinny, gangly and my hair was bad... bad hair. Now I'm happy with my look. My hair is long, I'm still in shape and I'm just kind dialing in on everything.
- [teasing film crews during nude scenes] I have a certain power over men. It's really fun on a movie set, because I have a captive audience of 30 or 40 crewmen l can play with, tease, taunt... and then I walk off. Of course, they can't do anything about it and neither can I. But there's a great sexual tension. I have so many gaffers, grips and caterers whom I pick on all the time.
- [preferring nude roles] If I were given a script with absolutely no sex or nudity, I'd be extremely disappointed.
- [making sword & sorcery movies] The budget doesn't matter. It's the costume and sword that get me wet. Throw in a horse and I'll work for free! I rule the world!
- [how she changes clothes quickly during photoshoots] It's easy when you're not wearing anything underneath.
- [sex with women] I like to flirt with it. You know, play around. But I don't dig being with women. I like it on sets, because it's a controlled environment. They yell, "Cut!" and you can get up and go to your trailer. It's not like you have to make the bitch breakfast or anything.
- [being a virgin in high school] I couldn't get laid in high school to save my life, because I was kind of a geek and so skinny, and, as hard as I tried, no one was interested.
- [acting, 1994] Unlike some other actresses, I want to work. There's really not a script I don't like. If it's great, that's great, and if it's decent, that's good enough. I'll do it.
- [not being shy] Life is too short to worry about someone seeing you naked.
- [her life in movies] I might be staying in high school for the rest of my life, but at least I'm the prom queen every year!
- [working with good directors] If anything, they kept me from going over the top, because in a lot of my early movies, everything was just like, "Get the boobs and the dynamite and let's go!" So for someone to be able to say, "Shhhh, take it down a notch," it really seemed to help me a lot.
- [being Queen of the B-Movies] I don't think anybody can righteously take that title away from me. Someday, when I retire, they may refer to someone else in the same capacity. But I have peed on the tree, and no other dog is going to come along and outdo me. I am swimming around and enjoying my big fish status in a little pond of forever.
- [her heroes] Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, Raquel Welch. They're luxurious, buxom ladies who walked the planet as if they they owned it.
- [people saying she can't act] I'm an entity. A full-busted bitch Barbarella. I'd rather be sexy and look good rather than be a great actress and look like that chick in Fargo.
- [still posing nude after being successful] The fact is I'm 35, a millionaire and happily married, but I still do nudity and pose for Penthouse. Penthouse was one of the first to believe in me and gave me money to help my career. I was too busy working to have any worries about being moral or immoral.
- [why she never looks demure in photos] I really don't have a choice. I'm 6'1" and with my boots on I'm 6'8". You could throw a whip or any kind of weapon in my hand and - BOOM! - I could take over.
- [keeping in shape] I work out harder than you can imagine. There are days that I crawl into bed at noon because I'm so tired. But I do it so when I put on a bikini, I know that the fans aren't going to be disappointed
- [giving fans what they want] When you're a celebrity, you're a piece of cake and everybody can have a slice... If I'm a piece of cake that's what I'll give them. I'll stuff them until they weigh 600 pounds!
- [nudity providing a public service] There're handicapped people or unattractive people who will never have the chance to be with a beautiful woman, and why should they suffer and feel alienated when they can open up their mailbox and here comes Julie Strain or some other hot woman?
- [wanting to be a sex symbol when she was young] My mother kept Playboy and Penthouse underneath the bed. She'd go to the grocery store, and I'd sit there and read the magazines. I'd think, "I want to be one of these ladies when I grow up." I wanted to be a sex symbol that encompassed acting and all the other areas I really had my sights set on.
- [carrying on the pinup tradition] I think the responsibility is a little bit on my shoulders right now, especially since so many people market me, and I have to do a good job of it. There's a lot of phony-baloney stuff out there, and I want people to look at me and go, "That's a real pinup." Bettie Page wrote for me in one of her books, "It's you who keeps the flame of pinup beauty alive today," so that's like a passing of the torch right there.
- [working with producer Donald Jackson (2015)] I've been doing films with Donald G. Jackson for about six years now. He was one of the first directors to hire me when I had bad hometown hair and I couldn't act. So I still keep working for him because he believed in me then and he still does.
- [nude scenes early in her career] I'd be a waitress right now if I didn't do those things. It's kind of hard to make a splash starting at that age, with no training or anything. It opened a lot of doors for me.
- [why her career kept going] I'm a real mover and groover and shaker in this business. I'm not scared to do movies that contain nudity. I'm not scared to stay in this genre.
