Cheryl Duran grew up in Rio Linda CA, an avid fan of scary / fun horror
toys, TV shows and the plethora of genre related goodies that
proliferated in the 1960s. Reintroduced to horror films as an adult,
thanks to her son, Michael Williams, who insisted she watch "Phantasm",
she became an avid fan once again and went on to create the convention
zine, "Monster News", acted as co-producer of horror film "Stop It,
You're Killing Me", producer of horror film trailer compilation "The
Monster Club.Com Presents: Festival Of Fright" DVDs, executive producer
of horror cable TV show "Nightmarez Cafe", producer of horror
convention filmfest event "Carnival Of Horrors", host of free horror
old time radio archive, The Monster Club.Com, as well as written
several books about the subject of horror films including "Monster
Movie Memories: From Movie Palace To Drive In" and "The Monster
Club.Com Guide To Horror".
