Good luck, Baker!
Leigh-Allyn Baker, who plays a mom of five on Disney Channel’s hit family sitcom Good Luck Charlie, welcomed her second son via c-section on Tuesday, Sept. 18, she confirms to People exclusively.
“We are so blessed and thankful to welcome Baker James Kauffman into our family,” Baker, 40, and her husband Keith Kauffman — who are already parents to 3-year-old son Griffin — tells People.
“We are more than just smitten. We are absolutely, madly in love.”
Baby Baker weighed in at 6 lbs., 12 oz. and measured 20 inches long.
In June, Baker revealed that the couple was considering their naming options.

During both of her pregnancies, Leigh-Allyn Baker was certain she was having a girl — until she spotted a certain telltale giveaway during her ultrasounds.
“The first time with [3-year-old] Griffin, I saw it and was like, ‘Not a girl!’ I caught it this time too,” the actress, who is expecting her second son in September, tells People exclusively.
“I was really excited it was a boy. Even though I would love a little girl for me personally, I love being a mom to boys,” says Baker, who plays a mom of five on Disney Channel’s hit family sitcom Good Luck Charlie.

You know what we need? We need a cool investigative show that delves into the far reaches of the darkest corners of science. We need a show that sheds light on some of the horrors of the most disturbing and off-putting experiments ever performed. Luckily, we no longer need to wish for this program. It's about to become a reality.
Science, the channel that brings us shows like "How It's Made," "Monster Bug Wars" and The Running Man-esque "Mantracker," is proud to announce the launch of "Dark Matters: Twisted But True" a science-based program that will investigate historic experiments which pushed the boundaries of ethics and morality. The show will be hosted by unforgettable John Noble.
The six-episode inaugural season will cover such topics as The Philadelphia Experiment, a scientific theory that was being applied to converting apes into a fighting force, and unidentified flying Nazis. Tune in; you may learn something.

It's difficult to put Jasper James into a category. Is she a rapper or a DJ? Is she a dance music provocateur or a whacked-out performance artist? Is she transcendent or merely a genius? One thing is clear: In the ever-weirdening world of dance-infused electro-hop, it takes somebody forward-thinking to stay ahead of the curve, and James is from the future. Her debut album Vibrator dropped in January and has slowly been building a buzz, mainly because James has a reputation for being an electrifying performer who has her feet both in the dance world and the rock universe.
James' cousin is a member of the Isley Brothers and her father provided security for artists like Sammy Davis, Jr. and Tom Jones, so she has grown up surrounded by music. It makes her eclectic brew make sense: There's plenty of hip-hop and glam disco in there, but she also has...

London -- Global producer/distributor FremantleMedia said Thursday it had taken an undisclosed stake in U.K. factual indie banner Wide Eyed Entertainment. The outfit was launched last year by former Impossible Pictures and BBC executive Jasper James, co-creator of “Walking With Dinosaurs,” and former BBC and Channel 4 executive producer David McNab.
Fme will have a three-year, first-look development deal with Wide-Eyed Entertainment, a specialist in CGI-based factual and docu-drama programming, and will handle the indie’s global distribution and brand management.
FremantleMedia Enterprises COO Dan Allen said the partnership was the first of many and said the Wide-Eyed deal was “the perfect opportunity” to get in on the ground floor with projects that will have great international appeal. “We’re really pleased to be working with the Wide-Eyed team and to developing more relationships of this nature,” he said.
