There is an upcoming novel titled Triumph of the Walking Dead, which follows Robert Kirkman's ascent from comic book writer to producer and writer in television. This book is edited by James Lowder with several contributors participating. Authors Jonathan Maberry and Jay Bonansinga talk of their impressions of "The Walking Dead," while the popularity of the show is given attention, through fans' eyes. Tim Seeley has tweeted that his comic book, Hack/Slash – one of my favourite comics ever – is to be made into a roleplaying game by Eden Studios.
Hack/Slash, recently left it’s long time home at Devil’s Due for Image Comics – I wonder if this is all part of a much bigger plan for the book? We’re still waiting on the movie! According to reports, a prototype of the card game will be shown off at Gen Con.
