Writer/director Carl Paolino got in touch with an update on his indie shocker The Sickness, and sent along a couple of new pics. Originally completed last year, the movie recently went back for reshoots to punch up the horror content.

“When you are shooting a low-budget feature film in the digital format,” Paolino tells Fango, “you have so many more production options open to you than if you shot it on film. To this end, we successfully produced four new scenes that contain some very graphic violence and cut them into the film where we felt it was needed most.”
Paolino came to the decision to create the additional material after being advised by a couple of prominent distribution companies that its marketability would benefit from the additional grue. Still, he was pleased...
