- Was well-known with his improvisations in theater versions of Kralj Ibi (1973) and Radovan III (1983).
- Turned down role of Mesa in the film When Father Was Away on Business (1985).
- Was a member (from 1968 till death) of "Atelje 212" theater in Belgrade, where he performed roles such as Father Ubu in Alfred Jarry's "The King Ubu", Captain in Bora Cosic's "Role of my family in world revolution", Ahmet Nurudin in Mesa Selimovic's "Dervish and the death", Radovan in Dusan Kovacevic's "Radovan III", Filip Filipovic in Bulgakov's "Dog's heart" and also Moliere in Bulgakov's same-name play and many more.
- On November 1983, he received Life Achievement Award "Dobricin prsten" for his roles in Serbian theaters.
- Ranked #1 in Serbian newspapers "Vecernje novosti" in «Best Serbian Actors & Actresses of XX Century» list. (December 2000).
