- M.S. Subbalakshmi was born on September 16, 1916 in Madurai, Madras Presidency, British India. She was a music artist and actress, known for Seva Sadan (1938), Meera (1947) and Meera (1949). She was married to T. Sadasivam. She died on December 11, 2004 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
