Nissa Diederich, EVP Production at 20th Television, is leaving the Disney-owned studio.
Diederich decided to step down from the role, with the news shared moments ago by 20th Television president Karey Burke in a note to staff.
It comes nine months after production operations across Disney TV Studios, Hulu, Freeform and FX were consolidated under Carol Turner, with Diederich reporting to her. Turner was previously EVP and Head of Production for Disney’s other television studio, ABC Signature.
Diederich previously replaced Jim Sharp to oversee production at the studio. Before that, she was EVP Production at Touchstone Television (formerly known as Fox 21 TV Studios), having spent 20 years working at Fox.
She has overseen production on series including Glee, Homeland, This Is Us, the American Crime Story anthology, Sons of Anarchy, The Dropout and Dopesick as well as American Horror Story, Only Murders in the Building, Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Feud: Capote vs.

It’s high noon for Bryan Noon at Walt Disney Television, where he has been named president of entertainment, filling the position left vacant when Craig Hunegs departed the company in May. Noon previously served as vice president of original series at Netflix, until departing a year ago as part of an organizational shuffle.
In his new role, Noon will report to Walt Disney Television chairman of entertainment Dana Walden, who made the announcement on Wednesday. Noon will take over all of the duties most recently held by Hunegs, overseeing the production and business affairs teams for Hulu Originals, Onyx Collective, ABC Entertainment and Freeform, as well as production companies ABC Signature and 20th Television. He also oversee all aspects of 20th Animation, Walt Disney Television Unscripted and Alternative, Disney Television Studios Creative Talent Development & Inclusion, 20th Digital Studios, and Creative Acquisitions.

Walt Disney Television has hired a new President of Entertainment.
Former Netflix exec Bryan Noon has been appointed to the role after the departure of Craig Hunegs earlier this year. Hunegs joined Disney in 2019 but left six months after a major restructure changed his role.
Noon, who spent eight years at Netflix, most recently as VP, Original Series, overseeing the streamer’s business affairs team, will report to Walt Disney Television Entertainment Chairman Dana Walden, who called him the “exact right executive” to lead the team.
He will lead the production and business affairs teams for Walt Disney Television’s content brands, including Hulu Originals, Onyx Collective, ABC Entertainment and Freeform, along with production companies ABC Signature and 20th Television and will oversee all aspects of 20th Animation, Walt Disney Television Unscripted and Alternative, Disney Television Studios Creative Talent Development & Inclusion, 20th Digital Studios, and Creative Acquisitions.

If you have Netflix and are a horror fan in need of something to watch this Labor Day weekend, one look at this gargantuan list I compiled of the new terror titles Netflix has added for instant streaming in just the first three days of this month should keep you busy until Labor Day next year. You'll find something for everyone, from older titles to recent releases, famous to obscure, classic to not-so-classic, monsters to maniacs - you name it.
For the record, I considered compiling this list in alphabetical order or by year of the film's release, but then I realized I had already spent well over an hour just sorting through the massive catalogue of titles Netflix has now made available for instant streaming and realized Labor Day would be over by the time I finished arranging this list in any kind of order. Ready? Here you go.
