Droughtlander isn't over just yet, sassenachs. Though Starz's "Outlander" is ending after its eighth season, there's still plenty to look forward to now that season seven has not one, but two premiere dates.
On Dec. 23, 2022, Starz served up a preview of what's ahead in season seven to tide fans over, and the first teaser promised all of the romance, action, and prophetic dreams viewers have come to expect from the show. That time around, it was Jamie envisioning the future - which could be a warning of what's to come for him and Claire. In the teaser, Jamie tells Claire that he dreamed they were surrounded by an unnatural light. "I had another dream," he says. "There was a light around ye. But it wasn't candlelight, nor firelight. I thought, now that must be what electric light is like."

The fight for a new America is coming in the first full trailer for Outlander season seven.
Set to a rendition of “Ave Maria,” the more than two-minute teaser dropped on Thursday and features Sam Heughan’s Jamie and Caitríona Balfe’s Claire as they navigate yet another war (now of the revolutionary kind) that threatens to tear them, their family and their love apart. “We will make it back here one day, won’t we?” Claire pleads with Jamie towards the top of the trailer.
Season seven of the hit Starz series will be based on Diana Gabaldon’s seventh book, An Echo in the Bone, as well as some source material from the sixth book, A Breath of Snow and Ashes, due to a truncated sixth season due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It picks up where season six left off, with Claire having been charged with the murder of Tom Christie’s daughter,...

If you at all care about Outlander‘s Jamie and/or Claire Fraser, we strongly recommend watching until the very end of the show’s new Season 7 trailer.
The nearly two-and-a-half-minute video, which Starz released Thursday, offers up plenty of weighty moments for us to fret over ahead of the season premiere. A mournful Claire sings “Ave Maria” while walking in a funeral procession. She cries while asking Jamie, “We will make it back here one day, won’t we?” Their house on Fraser’s Ridge very much seems like it’s on fire. Lord John wonders why Jamie won’t fight for England,...

Starz has released the first trailer for “Outlander” Season 7, which will premiere June 16.
The new season, inspired in part by Diana Gabaldon’s “Outlander” book series, will waste no time getting into action, picking up on the harrowing events of the Season 6 finale where Jamie (Sam Heugan) and Young Ian (John Bell) were racing to rescue Claire (Caitriona Balfe) before she was tried and wrongfully convicted for the murder of Malva Christie (Jessica Reynolds).
In true “Outlander” fashion, nothing comes easy; the trailer depicts much hardship to come for the Frasers and those they love. The American Revolution is in full swing and the chaos that comes with an emerging nation means the land they once called home is changing. Will Jamie, Claire, Brianna (Sophie Skelton), Roger (Richard Rankin) and their loved ones be able to change with it is a key question this season.
“I’d hoped that Jamie would stay away from it,...

Claire and Jamie’s epic romance has withstood almost everything under the sun, and the Revolutionary War is no exception.
Picking up from the contentious Season 6 finale, the seventh installment of “Outlander” kicks off with Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Young Ian (John Bell) racing against the clock to save Claire (Caitríona Balfe) before she is tried for the murder of Malva Christie, of which she was wrongly accused. Amid their own crisis, yet another obstacle stands in the family’s way: The American revolution.
As the treacherous conflict escalates, Jamie, Claire and the rest of their family must reckon with abandoning the roots they laid down as Jamie steps up for battle, separating himself and Claire once again.
“I’d hoped that Jamie would stay away from it, but maybe he’s supposed to be there, maybe he always was,” Claire says in the trailer, released Thursday by Starz.
