Big Brother's decision to bring back six ex-housemates for yesterday's task had a big impact on the finalists.
Danielle McMahon, Zoe Birkett, Winston Showan, Steven Goode, Biannca Lake and Mark Byron all returned yesterday (August 13) to give the final six some tips on how to deal with the outside world.
However, Ash Harrison found the reunion difficult and later cried in the Diary Room as he admitted that he's missed having Winston and Steven in the house.
"I can't wait to see them again," he said. "It's not like I'm sad, it's just overwhelming... I just wanted to keep hugging them."
Meanwhile, Mark's return had a big impact on Christopher Hall as Pav Paul told him: "You really like him don't you... I don't think you realise how much you talk about him."
"I must do," Christopher replied. "I'll get over it."
The finalists later won a party for passing the task,...

Big Brother housemate Ash Harrison has confirmed that he doesn't "fancy" his fellow contestant Helen Wood - describing her as a "knob".
The model made his comments during yesterday's task, which saw ex-housemates returning to give the finalists some advice about returning to the outside world.
During the media training session, Ash was asked if he fancied Helen and joked: "No... she's a knob! She's my best mate in the house and she's alright to look at, but she's a knobhead."
Returning housemate Zoe Birkett pointed out that his comments could result in a negative headline - which this very article proves.
Elsewhere, Helen apologised to Zoe for her behaviour after she was asked if there was anyone that she planned to say sorry to upon leaving the house.
However, she added: "Everyone else I genuinely probably didn't like and don't deserve an apology... Everyone else can get stuffed."

Six ex-housemates are returning to the Big Brother house today (August 13) - to help the finalists prepare for their return to the outside world.
Ahead of the final on Friday (August 15), remaining housemates Ash Harrison, Ashleigh Coyle, Chris Wright, Christopher Hall, Helen Wood and Pav Paul must try to learn important skills to win a party for themselves and their ex-housemates.
First up, Danielle McMahon and Zoe Birkett will be back to give the group some media training. The duo will give each housemate individual teaching, which they must put to good use when Big Brother hosts a press conference featuring questions from the public.
Biannca Lake and Mark Byron, meanwhile, will teach the finalists how to exit the house in style and have a "memorable winning attitude". After their tutorial, the housemates must each deliver a signature exit pose, react to boos, and show off their new good winning attitude.

Housemates will have to act on their animalistic behaviours in the latest Big Brother task.
The wildlife-based task will involve housemates becoming stars of a natural history show.
Their behaviour will be watched and commented on by a wildlife commentator, and the narration will also pre-empt behaviours that the housemates have to carry out.
Whenever housemates hear a special voice commanding them to perform certain actions, they must obey it. If housemates carry out the humiliating orders, they will win a jungle-themed party from Big Brother.
Impressionist Darren Altman will be the voice of the nature documentary.
Zoe Birkett became the 10th Big Brother evictee on Friday (August 1), after the former Pop Idol contestant received the majority of the public votes.

Big Brother is testing the strength of Helen, Winston and Mark as part the latest task.
The trio will each undergo a series of physical and mental tests of strength, while the remaining housemates attempt to put them off.
Task one sees the trio take individual turns to hold a light dumbbell, being careful to keep arms straight while resisting the foul stench of dog food, a large fish and a very smelly sock.
The second task will see them individually test their skills in the diary room.
Mark must cut 15 onions while listening to Mariah Carey songs without crying, while Helen will have to read out messages from viewers without getting angry.
Winston, meanwhile, must not laugh while he's given a lap dance by former housemate Biannca, who will be dressed in a chicken costume.

Zoe Birkett has become the tenth housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house.
Chris, Pav and Zoe were all up for eviction during People Power week, but the former Pop Idol contestant received the majority of the public votes.
Upon exiting the house, Zoe ran up the stairs before shouting back to the remaining housemates: "See you in two weeks!"
When Emma Willis brought up her reaction to hearing her name, Zoe explained that she was simply keen to get out as she was excited to see her family.
"Normally I call them 13, 14 times a day," she said. "That was the toughest thing [in the house] for us."
"I wanted the experience and see how it was for me... psychologically," she added of her decision to appear on the show.
"But then, all I could think of was being back in my mum and dad's arms."

Big Brother's Helen Wood admitted that she was unsure if Ash Harrison liked her, before the two were caught playing underneath their bed covers.
Helen had insisted to Zoe Birkett that Ash wasn't interested in her romantically, but Zoe said that Ash told her he didn't know how Helen felt.
Helen later chatted to Ashleigh about Ash and suggested that she may have "pissed him off" as Ash had "gone a bit more distant with me... even after we kiss, things have changed".
When Ashleigh told Helen that Ash had stronger feelings than her, Helen said that she and Ash were "chalk and cheese... I'd rather punch myself in my nose than explain how I feel in this house".
However, Helen did admit to liking Ash, but worried that Ash would simply walk away and say "see you later" when the series ends.

Housemates will embrace everything to do with the internet in this week's shopping task.
Big Brother has created its own version of the world wide web for the task and will be relying on the public to help decide the fate of the shopping budget.
A giant laptop will be placed in the house, and when housemates are needed they will enter a task room that's decorated like different websites. It will then look like the housemates are 'inside' the internet.
For housemates to pass the overall task, they need to gain enough hits over the two days.
In the first task, housemates will be given costumes and props before recording a 20-second video, with the aim of it going viral.
The public hold the power in this task as for housemates to receive the maximum amount of hits they are required to meet a certain amount of 'likes'.

Winston had to choose which housemate's letters to save and which to delete from four pairs.
Firstly, he chose to save Helen Wood's letter, while destroying Mark Byron's. He also rewarded Ash Harrison with his letter from a loved one, but deleted Chris Wright's letter in the process.
The housemates congregated on the sofa to watch as Winston made his decisions in the Diary Room.
Pav Paul received his letter at the expense of Zoe Birkett, while Ashleigh Coyle received hers over Christopher Hall.

This week, Pav Paul, Zoe Birkett and Chris Wright all face being evicted during Friday's (August 1) show. But who voted for them?
In tonight's show, we see housemates make their nominations in the Diary Room, and there are a couple of odd reasons thrown into the mix.
First up was Ashleigh Coyle, who's immune from nominations herself. She voted for both Pav and Zoe to face the chop.
Also taking this decision were Christopher Hall and Winston Showan, who both nominated the two newbies.
Mark Byron also voted for Pav, but picked Chris as his second nomination.
Zoe decided on Chris as well for her first ever nomination session in the house, followed by Christopher. Her reason for nominating Christopher involved the fact that he never seems to wears shoes.
Ash Harrison used the same unusual reason to justify nominating Christopher, and gave Pav as his second vote.

Big Brother's Power Alliance has disbanded and Ashleigh Coyle has gone from Power Housemate to eviction nominee in the latest twist.
Previously, Ashleigh picked Chris Wright and Mark Byron to join her as a Power Trio, and they nominated Ash Harrison and Steven Goode for eviction, later adding Pavandeep Paul after hearing advice from their former housemates.
They then added Zoe Birkett into the mix, with Chris telling Mark that her popularity with the public means that she will be safe.
Ashleigh told Iris in the control room that she enjoyed being part of the Power Alliance because it was "fun", and when prompted revealed that Zoe was their fourth and final nomination.
She explained that her loyal friendship with Christopher Hall meant that they couldn't choose him, while Winston Showan was one of the only people who defended her during her issues with Helen Wood.

Big Brother will rig a set of challenges in an attempt to frustrate half of the housemates in the latest task.
The Losers task will see the house divide into two teams, who must compete against each other in a series of games. The teams have been chosen so most of the confident housemates end up in the winning Red Team.
While the Red Team, comprising of Ash, Ashleigh, Helen, Mark and Winston, must try to irritate and annoy the other team, the losing Blue Team - Chris, Christopher, Pav, Steven and Zoe - won't realise that the real task is to win the final and only fair challenge.
If the Red Team triumph in the last game, the whole house will be rewarded with a luxury shopping budget.
In one challenge, teams are tasked with connecting pipes together so that water flows to the exit pipe and fills up a barrel.

Big Brother housemates are punished and told to sit on the 'naughty step'.
The incident came after yesterday's (July 19) copycat task. The winners of the challenge, Helen, Ash, Ashleigh, Zoe and Steven from Team A, received a fast food treat for beating Team B.
However, some of the members of the losing team helped themselves to the food regardless.
Offending Team B members Pav, Mark, Chris and Winston were called to the Diary Room and punished, with Big Brother sending them to the 'naughty step'.
After serving his time, Mark breaks Big Brother rules again by taking food from the fridge.
After at first trying to hide from the cameras, he is punished with a second stint on the 'naughty step'.
While there, he compares himself to "a very famous man that was incarcerated for a very long time".
Big Brother continues tonight (July 20) at 9pm on Channel 5.

The Big Brother house has competed in a copycat-themed task.
In yesterday's (July 19) Copy That task, housemates were challenged to do something so outrageous, disgusting or embarrassing that their opponent would be unwilling to copy them.
Big Brother split the housemates into two teams. In each of the five rounds, one person in a team will perform an act which someone on the other side must replicate.
Helen, Ash, Ashleigh, Zoe and Steven formed Team A, while Mark, Pav, Chris and Winston made up Team B. Christopher acted as the referee.
In the opening round, Zoe did the crab. Mark attempted to copy but failed, leading to a win for Team A.
The second round saw Winston wax his armpit, leg and pubic hair, as well as hula-hooping, covering himself in baby oil and spraying his chest pink. Steven did not hula-hoop and also cling filmed himself, resulting in Winston...

Biannca Lake bared all in the Big Brother house last night.
The Essex girl - by way of Marbella - took part in a game of 'strip catch' during a pre-eviction party and ended up getting completely naked.
Soon after the game began, both Helen Wood and Biannca were forced to ditch items of clothing.
However, while Helen stood in her underwear, the tipsy 31-year-old stripper decided to bare her breasts and then began taking off all her clothes.
After removing her leopard print top and leggings, Biannca began frolicking in the sewage pool (which thankfully, is just a prop introduced for Armageddon Week that pumps out coloured water).
Despite attempts by Zoe Birkett and Chris Wright to protect her modesty, she continued to dance around in her birthday suit as other housemates looked on in shock.
"Get me out of here," said Danielle McMahon...

Big Brother housemate Biannca Lake was left fuming yesterday when she discovered what some of her housemates really think of her.
The new trio - Biannca, Zoe Birkett and Pavandeep Paul - were given the chance to control one of the original contestants, and chose Christopher Hall to wear an earpiece and get some gossip from the rest of the group.
Biannca first asked him to find out what Winston Showan thought of her after her various attempts to win him over.
However, she was horrified when Winston replied: "She's not really my type of girl, to be honest with you. She's a bit forward. I'd rather do the chasing, if you know what I mean."
Biannca described Winston as a "tw*t" after hearing his comments, and was also left annoyed when Chris Wright suggested that she has been stirring in the house.
"Biannca hasn't acknowledged me this morning,...

Big Brother housemate Steven Goode will urge the housemates to open up for today's task.
The challenge has been cheekily dubbed 'Open Up To Steven' - which will bring back horrific memories of Steven's pillow talk to fellow housemate Kimberly Kisselovich.
However, today's task will thankfully be something rather tamer, as Steven will be told to give the new housemates a tough interview.
Biannca Lake, Pavandeep Paul and Zoe Birkett - who entered the house on Monday - will face a Paxman-style grilling from Steven.
He will be given a chance to come up with questions earlier in the day, but Big Brother will also communicate with him through an earpiece and give him cue cards with questions. Steven is expected to ask the new trio about who they really are and what they think about the rest of the group.

New Big Brother housemate Biannca Lake continued to make waves with her forward comments yesterday - but reassured the group that she is "not a sex pest".
Biannca - who "embarrassed" Winston Showan with her chat-up lines on her first night in the house - has now told the housemates: "Get me drunk and trust me, I'll f**k anyone!"
Later, she continued to shock the group by giving Helen Wood a lap dance - and she took off her top to rub her breasts in Helen's face.
However, Ash Harrison seemed to enjoy the display, Zoe Birkett provided a theme tune and Helen admitted that she has paid for female strippers in the past.
Elsewhere, Biannca's crush on Winston continued to be a hot topic as she insisted she was "playing up".
"I'm not really a sex pest," she reassured him. "I do want to f**king f**k your brains out,...

Big Brother has been stirring up trouble today in the latest part of Armageddon Week.
The new housemates - Zoe Birkett, Pavandeep Paul and Biannca Lake - have been set two challenges today to cause yet more problems in the compound, with the first one seeing them controlling a 'mole'.
For the 'A Mole in the Ranks' challenge, the new housemates were told to choose an original contestant to wear an earpiece. They must communicate with their mole to get them to ask the rest of the group questions - and find out what the housemates really think about the new trio.
If the original housemate plays along and doesn't get caught, they will win a meal with the three newbies, which they will either enjoy in front of everyone in the house or in the new housemates' luxury room.
Secondly, the 'Judgement Time' challenge will see the trio taking part in a quiz.

We're not going to lie - when we found out that Zoe Birkett was entering the Big Brother house earlier this week, the Digital Spy office got very excited indeed. What a blast from the past - and how much the "little podgy kid from Pop Idol with the dreadlocks" (her words, not ours) has grown up in the last 13 years. But it got us thinking - what happened to the other contestants? We put on our deerstalker, pulled out our magnifying glass and started digging...

Big Brother housemate Winston was left "embarrassed" last night after new housemate Biannca Lake made her feelings for him known.
Biannca, who entered the house along with Zoe Birkett and Pavandeep Paul yesterday (July 14), had already told her fellow newbies that she thought Winston was "f**king gorgeous" before meeting him.
After entering the main house for the first time, Biannca didn't waste much time before asking Winston: "[Have you] ever done it on rubble? Would you like to find out on this tonight?"
Some of the housemates began to become wary of Biannca, with Chris Wright saying in the Diary Room that she makes Helen Wood look like "the Virgin Mary" and will be a "f**king nightmare".
However, Biannca continued her pursuit of Winston undeterred, telling him: "If I'm getting on anyone, I'm getting on you! You are f**king hot, you're f**king gorgeous... You're scared of me,...

Big Brother has pitted the original housemates against the newbies for today's part of Armageddon week.
Last night, Zoe Birkett, Biannca Lake and Pavandeep Paul entered the house but they will now have to battle the original group for luxuries.
While they will simply be playing for rewards, the original group - who have had their creature comforts removed from the house - will be fighting for better living conditions.
Today's first challenge, 'On The Ledge', will see the original housemates standing on a platform surrounded by murky water. One of the new housemates will cycle to pull a wall behind the ledge forward - forcing the original housemates off the ledge.
If there are a certain number of original housemates still on the ledge when the time runs out, they will win - but the new housemates will be allowed to throw tinned tomatoes, sponges and water balloons at...

Big Brother became a blast from the past today, as Pop Idol star Zoe Birkett entered the house as part of Armageddon Week.
Birkett was just 16 years old when she auditioned for Pop Idol's first series back in 2001 - she ended up coming fourth, finishing behind Will Young, Gareth Gates and Darius Campbell.

And she already has a Big Brother connection, too, having dated Big Brother 6 champion Anthony Hutton for six years.

Oh, and you might have seen her on Digital Spy last year when she was Jason Derulo's backing singer in one of our very own DS Sessions.

Saturday Night Entertainment television is very horrible.
Don’t get me wrong. I do not mean in terms of the content, because I love it when Phillip Schofield gets all ‘Prime time’ on me. I merely mean in terms of the pressures they set upon society. Am I Right, Cruel World?
Oh us. The unsuspecting general public, who just like something to watch whilst we sip from mugs. Because sometimes mug sipping is just not enough. Sometimes the mugs are merely empty. (This isn’t a metaphor for the depravity of life, it was a mug-based analysis only.) But nowadays, turning on the television is like reawakening a rubbish school bully who gives your trousers a ‘look’. So many demands and threats are suddenly thrust upon us:
Got to Dance.
Strictly come Dancing.
Do You think you can dance?
and
How Do you solve a problem like Maria?...
