Eliomer Laureano is a Puerto Rican producer, professor, and entrepreneur. He graduated magna cum laude from a bachelor's degree in political science at the University of Puerto Rico and a Juris Doctor from the law school in the same institution. He has a postgraduate specialization in marketing, communications, and strategy from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
He has been the producer of popular Puerto Rican films, such as "Los Mecánicos", "Barrote Films", "Creeré", and "Enredo de Reyes". Several of his productions have been released in theaters as top grossing films at the box office and have positioned themselves among the premiering shows with the highest ratings on television. The critics declared his production "Los Mecánicos" as one of the best films in Puerto Rican cinema. Laureano has also been part of the production crew of large-scale film projects for Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Disney+.
In addition, he is a member of the faculty of film studies at Atlantic University in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and also part of the board of directors of the Puerto Rico Documentary Association (ADoc, acronym from Spanish). Laureano remains active in the development of multiple film projects and provides his production services under the entity Highway Studios.
