When it comes to stand-up comedy I tend to like the comedians that tell a story and build up to a joke. There are some though that prefer the quick-fire one-liners style like Tim Vine…
What I find with Tim Vine though is that he has a style that is inoffensive and easy to handle. You don’t have to overthink the jokes, and many that he throws at you are genuinely funny. I’ll admit that they aren’t ones that are exactly laugh out loud for the most part, but can get a chuckle out of me. The most important thing is that they are fun.
What Tim Vine does with Tim Timinee Tim Timinee Tim Tim To You (yay for copy & paste) is offer a self-deprecating style of comedy where he knows which jokes will have some impact, and which ones will be quite soft on the audience.

In case you missed last week's episode of FlashForward, "Blowback," you can read a recap here.
This week's episode, "Better Angels," begins with a helicopter flying over the Ganwar Province of Somalia. Clad in Red Panda uniforms, Vogel, Demetri, Janis, Simon and a translator are making their way to the remaining tower. The translator teaches them a couple useful phrases, including how to ask what someone saw in their flash. He asks Janis what she saw, and she responds that she's baking bread in her flash. Demetri says that he thought she was supposed to be "baking bread" this weekend. Unfortunately, Vogel's field trip closed that possibility. The team lands and makes their move toward the tower. Simon asks Vogel for a gun, but is told that he's just there to observe and guide; he should just stay close and out of trouble. Back in L.A. Mark brings Wedeck...

Welcome back Flashers! (Ok, perhaps that was unfortunate phrasing.) If you don't remember what happened in FlashForward last fall, check out a fall season finale recap here, a look at the important flashes here, and a preview of the spring season here. With that out of the way, the two-hour spring premier, titled "Revelation Zero, Parts 1 & 2," is probably best taken in groups of characters or characters individually, due to all of the jumping between stories for the first ninety minutes of the episode. So, here's a recap of this week's FlashForward.
Mark and Lloyd: Mark loses his badge due to his escapade in Hong Kong. On his way out of the office, he snaps some pictures of his Mosaic board so he can reconstruct it at home. To get his badge back (and more importantly, back on the case), he is required to see a psychologist, Dr. Callie Langer. He relates his flash to her,...
