Edwørd Love is an American writer and film producer with a focus on international cinema.
His film producing projects involved collaborating with Japanese and Icelandic filmmakers. During the pandemic, he executive produced Make-Believers, a Japanese musical directed by Kenjo McCurtain. The film played in film festivals all over the world.
His next producing project is Grylu Sker, a forthcoming live action puppet short film from director Kevin McTurk. Based on Icelandic lore, the film tells the story of a lost explorer who runs afoul of a hideous and legendary witch. Written by Tab Murphy (Gorillas in the Mist, The Haunted Swordsman) and Icelandic author Sjón (co-writer of The Northman), will utilize traditional style Japanese Bunraku dolls to create an immersive experience. Phil Tippet (the genius behind Mad God, 2021) is also heavily involved.
