French CGI studio TeamTO, one of the biggest animation studios in Europe, has initiated development on “Jade Armor” Season Two.
The move comes as TeamTO has produced on a service basis third party IPs ranging from “Kiya & the Kimoja Heroes” to Netflix hit “The Creature Cases.”
Progress on “Jade Armor” TeamTO is made in the wake of its moving last December into a brand new 2,700 square-meter studio facility in the Bastille district in Paris, as, in its busiest year ever, TeamTO is producing five third-party shows. Five more, all TeamTO original series, are airing around the globe.
Parallel to this, TeamTO is offering on open access its cutting-edge technologies and protocol which can significantly reduce energy consumption.

CBS is set to air a primetime special titled “A Salute to ‘NCIS: Los Angeles'” immediately after the two-part conclusion of the long-running crime show on May 21.
Capping off 14 seasons of programming, the first part of the series finale airs May 14 (10-11 p.m. Et) on CBS. The second part will be released May 21 (9-10 p.m. Et), followed by the one-hour farewell special at 10 p.m. Et.
“Wrapping up a series is always bittersweet. We were blessed to have 14 seasons together, so bringing it to a satisfying end was extremely challenging after so many years,” said showrunner and executive producer R. Scott Gemmill. “Fortunately, CBS was gracious enough to give us an extra episode in order to send off our characters in a way befitting their stories that hopefully the fans find both satisfying and hopeful.”
The final two episodes follow the NCIS team as they investigate a case of stolen military-grade weapons,...

Disney Emea Animation Studio this morning unveiled a group of new and returning animated kids projects out of Europe and Africa. Among the new titles is Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire, a 10-part sci-fi anthology executive produced by Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse co-director Peter Ramsey.
The short films, to be made by talent hailing from such places as Uganda, Zimbabwe, Kenya, South Africa, Egypt and Nigeria, will seek to answer the question “What does Africa’s future look like from an African perspective?” and tap into the Afrofuturism that was turbocharged by Marvel’s Black Panther, said Orion Ross, VP Animation for Disney Europe, Middle East & Africa. Triggerfish is the lead production house for a late 2022 global launch on Disney Plus.
Disney Junior and Disney Plus have also picked up Kiya And The Kimoja Heroes, a pre-school series created by South African duo Kelly Dillon and Marc Dey and produced by eOne and Frog Box.
