Indian filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, known for his work in Hindi cinema, recently took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the political landscape. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership while cautioning him about potential internal challenges.
Acknowledging Modi’s Leadership
Agnihotri attributed the potential success of the Bjp’s third-term government to Narendra Modi’s political acumen and dynamism. He emphasized Modi’s crucial role in shaping India’s political landscape.
Cautionary Advice
While expressing admiration for Modi’s leadership, Agnihotri advised caution regarding his political allies. He warned against blind trust, urging Modi to be vigilant of covert sabotage from within his own ranks.
If Bjp is going to form the government for the 3rd time, it’s because of the political acumen, dynamism and relentlessness of only one man @narendramodi.
In this term, Modi ji should be careful of his own people. Just because someone...

New Delhi, Nov 7 (Ians) Singers-songwriters Badshah, Sachin-Jigar and Aastha Gill’s new track ‘Ghar Pe Party’ from the upcoming film ‘Farrey’ is the ultimate party track as it really sets the vibe for a never-ending party and narrates the joy of simply living in the moment, to live and let go.
Very straightforward, simple and to-the-point, ‘Ghar Pe Party’ is exactly what it sounds like, a bunch of young kids having a ball atAlizeh Agnihotri’s character’shouse who is simply living in the moment with her friends.
Celebrating the joys of friendship, youth, and life, this exuberant piece incorporates rap, Edm, techno, electro-pop, and elements of film music.
The rapping of Badshah is neither freestyle nor gangsta, but rather just a simple beat down where he is simply talking about the party.
This is coupled with the singing of Sachin-Jigar and Aastha Gill, who go pure electronic and even use auto-tune.

After Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri pulled off a sleeper hit last year with ‘The Kashmir Files’, which was as much a box-office success as it was hugely controversial, expectations were high from ‘The Vaccine War’, the director’s take on the story of Covaxin.
‘The Vaccine War’, starring Nana Patekar and Pallavi Joshi in the lead roles, however, has had a terrible run in its initial four days at the box office.
The film, according to the trade website Sacnilk.com, has reported a net collection of Rs 6 crore. The figure includes a projected net earning of Rs 2.5 crore on Sunday, which will only be confirmed on Monday.
Compare this with the Rs 27.15 crore ‘The Kashmir Files’ made on its opening weekend, after starting with Rs 3.55 crore on Day One. And of course, it ended up making Rs 250.41 crore, which sealed its positions as one of the top-grossing movies of 2022.

The Vaccine War
Directed by Vivek Agnihotri
Apart from Raima Sen’s over-the-top villain’s act as a journalist who has sold out to the American cause, the characters in The Vaccine War are tenable and almost uniformly restrained and believable.
Unlike the last time when many of Vivek Agnihtori’s critics felt he went overboard in demonizing Kashmir’s anti-Pandit drive, this time Agnihotri makes the arching endeavour to show the birth of India’s first Covid vaccine as a celebration of women’s empowerment.
Admittedly the women , excluding Raima Sen in her vamping avatar, are gracefully portrayed. Pallavi Joshi and Girija Oak are reasonably effective as scientists toiling at the Indian Council of Medical Research to bring out an Indian vaccine in a run against time that became headlined in a section of the press as a battle between over-ambition and efficacy.
Portions of the storytelling are admirably constructed,...

Some filmmakers do get carried away with adulation from a section of movie-watchers who are out and out rabid supporters of an ideology. For obvious reasons, their captive audience is charged up and won’t listen to any contrarian opinion from another group of followers. Vivek Agnihotri, who is hellbent upon proving his loyalty to the present ruling dispensation, has been making movies with a single-point agenda: to flag as biased an opinion that is contrary to the one he professes and rewrite history to suit his extreme right-wing beliefs.
Two of his earlier films, ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘The Tashkent Files’, tried to create the myth that he believes is nothing but the truth. Really?
I am all for political affiliation, but when it comes to the arts, such loyalties should not interfere with the body of your work to the extent that it degenerates into propaganda.

Director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is all set to release his much awaited bio-science film ‘The Vaccine War’. Going over its shooting, the director detailed the many technical aspects of the film, as well as some of its themes, one of which is in fact women empowerment.
Taking to social media, ‘The Kashmir Files’ director shared a behind-the-scenes clip, which showcased some of the measures which he had used to make the film.
The clip showcases a greater aspect regarding camerawork, polishing up the frames, creating the sets and photographing actual locations and real life documents, to make it seem as accurate as it can be while still keeping intact the film’s focus.
Also, since there is apparently little CGI in the film, the director had said that polishing up the whole thing was of paramount importance. This was in regards to the comparatively much greater and detailed production which was shown in the trailer.

2023 is without doubt the Year of Shah Rukh Khan, and the imponderable left today is whether Rajkumar Hirani’s immigration saga ‘Dunki’ will help Bollywood’s King score a hat-trick, ending his four-year hiatus from the silver screen.
With Tamil director Atlee’s vigilante actioner ‘Jawan’, starring Srk, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupati, crossing the box office collections of the year’s other big hit, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s ‘Gadar 2’, in just nine days, Srk now carries the distinction of leading this year’s two certified blockbusters – ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’.
Having made a gross collection (including the 18 per cent Gst) of Rs 21.90 crore and Rs 20.20 crore respectively on the eighth and ninth days, ‘Jawan’ has raked in Rs 696 crore worldwide, compared with the ‘Gadar 2’ worldwide collection of Rs 679.69 crore (including domestic gross receipts adding up to 615.81 crore) on the film’s 35th day, according to the trade website,...

Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri, who has always been vocal about what’s on his mind, has raised a question about Shahid Kapoor-starrer ‘Bloody Daddy’ streaming for free.
Calling it a “sad news”, ‘The Kashmir Files’ maker said that Bollywood is celebrating its own destruction.
Agnihotri took to Twitter, where he shared a clipping about the digital streaming of ‘Bloody Daddy’ directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
He wrote: “Why would anyone show a 200 cr film for free? What’s this insane business model? Sad news is that Bollywood is celebrating its own destruction.”
A social media user replied: “This is Jio’s business model. They’ll give everything free for few/several months to increase the customer base. Later they’ll start charging minimal fee to retain the customers. Soon other Ott platforms too will have no option but to charge less to customers and generate revenue thru ads instead. Ott,...

Director Vivek Agnihotri who made ‘The Kashmir Files’ this year, has been at the centre of people’s ire over his Y-category security. Recently, the director shared a video on his Twitter that shows him walking around the city in security cover.
He wrote along with the video on Twitter: “The price one has to pay to show the Genocide of Hindus in Kashmir. In a Hindu majority country. Freedom of expression, ha! #ImprisonedInOwnCountry #Fatwa.”
Reacting to the video, netizens called the use of Y-security for Vivek ‘wastage of taxpayers’ money’. The director has made his reply.
For a Twitter user who said: “Shocking to see how much of taxpayers’ money is being wasted on security on a s****ag anti-national like you;” Agnihotri shared a picture of a heavily guarded street in Kashmir and wrote: “Tax payers money is used here to combat religious terrorism. If this stops, I can also live freely.
