Eric Ceja Ruiz

Eric Ceja Ruiz is from California. Both of Eric's parents are from Michoacan, Mexico. Eric grew up speaking Spanish and English, which has allowed him to switch between both languages for different creative on-screen and voice-over projects.
Eric was raised in Huntington Beach, California, and the surrounding areas of Orange County, California. He graduated from Huntington Beach High School and subsequently attended Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California. As of 2023, Eric is enrolled at the California State University of Long Beach in Long Beach, California.
Eric received acting training through a variety of classes and programs over the years. He participated in his first theater production in first grade, performing in a rendition of "The Little Red Hen." In fifth grade, he was involved in a series of fairy tale plays. Most recently, Eric has honed his skills through the Theater program at Orange Coast College and the South Coast Repertory, an Adult Conservatory in Costa Mesa.
During his time at the South Coast Repertory, Eric developed his acting and improvisation skills under the guidance of two coaches, Martin Noyes and Richard Soto, who are both working actors. At Orange Coast College, he trained alongside Professor Thomas Bruno, the Drama Lab department chair. Additionally, he completed a film and television production program at Orange Coast College, learning from industry professionals.
Eric has been actively involved in various creative projects. His first on-screen credit came in the supporting role of Jeus in the film "Silhouette," directed by Alejandro Guzman. Most recently, he participated in the drama film "Dream Big," directed by Obi Ndefo. Eric has also lent his voice to several projects, including a student-developed video game during his time at Orange Coast College.
In addition to acting, Eric is a writer. He has expressed his commitment to continue working on his craft for as long as he can.
