If one is in the mood for an indie thriller that gives off the vibe of a B-movie, then one might consider watching Roadkill, which is the new film by Warren Fast. The story is pretty simple, but Fast tries very hard to lend the film some thematic depth, which just isn’t possible with the kind of story he is trying to tell. For whatever it’s worth, the movie is unintentionally funny in a lot of places, and you can have a good time just admiring the effort the crew must have put into making this film. Although I must say that if the budget was a little better, this could have looked way better than it does. There is no intent to save on shoe leather in the film, which makes this drag a little more than it should have.

Actor Paul Walker felt a certain responsibility to stay in The Fast and the Furious franchise. One of his reasons for wanting to do the film was because of the backlash Vin Diesel received for leaving the series behind.

Not even Walker could’ve predicted that Fast and Furious would’ve become the mega-hit it is today. But the actor was a part of the franchise from its beginning, even before the film series had its famous title.
“I was working on The Skulls with basically the same team, Rob Cohen, Neal Moritz. Same studio, Universal,” Walker once told Access. “And Neal Moritz, the producer, approached me and he asked me, he said, ‘Paul, what would you like to do next?’ And I told him, I said,...

Vin Diesel loves when the “Fast & Furious” family comes together.
Diesel spoke with Et’s Matt Cohen on Saturday at the block party for Charlize Theron’s Africa Outreach project in Los Angeles, where he reacted to the shocking “Fast X” credits scene, which features Dwayne Johnson’s return to the franchise as Agent Luke Hobbs.
Following a social media spat between Diesel and Johnson, Johnson vowed in 2021 that there was “no chance” of him returning to star in a “Fast & Furious” movie — with plans instead to spin off his and Jason Statham’s characters in a series of “Hobbs & Shaw” films.
However, the “Fast X” post-credits scene features Jason Momoa’s villain calling Hobbs to tell him he’s coming for him next — all but confirming Johnson’s return for the 11th “Fast” film.
“We have such a great cast,” Diesel shared when asked about the surprise return.

Back in 2001, when the first movie of the Fast franchise, The Fast and the Furious, hit theaters, hardly anyone could have predicted that a simple story revolving around a cat-and-mouse game between a bunch of street racers/DVD player hijackers and a bright-eyed rookie cop would generate a multibillion-dollar-earning franchise a decade down the line. But here we are all these years later, with ten movies released as part of three trilogies and the first chapter of the upcoming trilogy, Fast X, already raking in big numbers at the box office. While the NoS-pumped physical law-defying campy fun doesn’t seem to be restrained by brakes or clutches, the makers have charted out the ending of the franchise, and the aftermath of Fast X has provided enough hints that will help viewers assess what the final lap will look like. We would like to discuss it briefly, thereby joining the...

The "Fast & Furious" franchise has given fans and music lovers alike some genuine bangers over the years, from Ludacris' "Act A Fool" way back in 2003 to the "Gasolina" remix in the newest flick. Plus, of course, there's the multi-platinum tribute to Paul Walker — Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's catchy and heartfelt "See You Again." While the films' soundtracks have always garnered the most attention upon the release of each new installment, the musical scores that help shape the action and drama are equally as deserving of kudos — especially when composer Brian Tyler, who's been involved with the franchise since "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift," is involved.
Variety recently spoke with Tyler about his score for the new film, and the composer shared insights into the process of crafting a theme for one of the franchise's boldest characters: Jason Momoa's Dante.

This article contains light spoilers for "Fast X."
When 2019's "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw" was first announced, it seemed like a way for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to pull a fast one on the franchise that he was previously part of only as a member of the ensemble. With this spin-off film, it appeared that Johnson was making a bid to move his character of Dss Agent Luke Hobbs into his own multi-movie franchise — and, as extra insurance, he brought reformed "Furious 7" villain Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) along with him.
Though that may have indeed been the idea behind the conception of "Hobbs & Shaw," the movie proved itself to be firmly entrenched within the "Fast & Furious" franchise in many ways. For one, the film features Hobbs, Shaw, and others performing incredible feats of strength and insanity in and out of various vehicles. For another,...

Vin Diesel isn’t ready to call it quits officially just yet!
Diesel spoke with Et’s Matt Cohen on Saturday at the block party for Charlize Theron’s Africa Outreach project in Los Angeles, and he played coy when asked exactly how much more fuel the Fast and Furious franchise has in the tank.
While fans already know that the new Fast X isn’t the end of the road — as Diesel announced at this year’s CinemaCon that an 11th film is slated for release in 2025 — many are wondering just how many more installments could be expected.
For Diesel, this is a delicate subject — specifically because of how much love there is for the franchise as a whole.
“The last time I told my daughter [it] was the last one, all I saw was tears,” Diesel said with a small laugh. “So I gotta be really careful [about] who and what I say.

The franchise that started as a somewhat realistic glimpse into the world of street racing culture in LA and morphed into a fully-fledged action blockbuster series is back. The "Fast and Furious" saga found massive success and longevity by pivoting part-way through its run and embracing all-out spectacle. Now, it might just have outdone itself with "Fast X."
And while the latest installment has so much going for it, Jason Momoa's unhinged, chaotic villain might just be the best thing about "Fast X." The son of crime lord Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida), who was on the receiving end of the "Fast" family's machinations in "Fast Five," has returned to avenge his father. And the result is a bombastic, unreasonably fun blockbuster outing.
As /Film's Ethan Anderton put it, "Dante becomes The Joker of the 'Fast and Furious' series," and is "exactly the kind of villain this series needed.

As Fast X hit theaters this weekend, buzz has quickly spread about the film’s post-credit scene, which sees the surprise return of both Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs and Gal Gadot’s Gisele Yashar.
Johnson and franchise star Vin Diesel have famously clashed in the past, as director Louis Leterrier previously told The Hollywood Reporter he and others had brokered the “peace treaty,” saying, “We reached out to Dwayne and his team and said, ‘Just come and watch the movie. You have to love the movie first.’ So, he came to see the movie and really loved it, and then we started talking.”
Now Diesel is also opening up about the decision to bring back the two stars, noting, “The conversations have been going on for a while.”

It is the beginning of the end for the Fast Saga as "Fast X" has hit theaters, serving as the first part in what will be a two-film finale to the long-running series. Though Vin Diesel has indicated that it could turn into a trilogy. In any event, Universal Pictures is beginning to wind things down with Dom Toretto and the gang. As expected, that means a lot of familiar faces from the past are going to reappear before all is said and done. But one wildly unexpected face did make a return, albeit in a very "blink and you'll miss it" sort of way. Depending on how things shake out, it does suggest a possible, more meaningful return in "Fast & Furious 11."

Fans of the “Fast and the Furious” movies learned long ago that they could rely on the franchise to keep raising the stakes and increasing the scale with each new entry, and “Fast X” is no exception. Yet even in a movie filled with awe-inspiring set pieces involving nuclear bombs dragged through the streets of Rome and cars driving down the surface of massive dams, perhaps the most exciting development is the addition of Dante, the flamboyant villain played by Jason Momoa. As demonstrative and hilarious as his adversary Dom (Vin Diesel) is restrained and taciturn, Dante exponentially increases the already high energy of every scene he’s in and brings a welcome sense of style to the proceedings.
A huge part of Dante’s appeal is his look, which Momoa crafted carefully with his longtime hair and makeup artist Jennifer Stanfield. “Jason has very clear ideas of what he likes,...

Spoiler Alert: Spoilers are ahead for “Fast X,” which is now playing in theaters.
“You believe in ghosts?” Agent Monica Fuentes (Eva Mendes) asks at the end of 2011’s “Fast Five.” She’s just presented agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) with a surveillance photo of Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), who was believed dead after a horrific crash in the fourth film, 2009’s “Fast & Furious.”
With one mid-credits coda, the “Fast” franchise established that if you don’t see a body, no one is really dead.
(In fact, Rodriguez recently revealed that she didn’t know about the third-act twist until she saw “Fast Five” in theaters. “I’m in Paris. I’m like, ‘Oh, hell no,'” she said in Feb. at the “Fast X” trailer launch event, explaining that she called producer and star Vin Diesel right away. “I find out by going to the movies, Vin?” she asked him.

Fasten your seatbelts because Universal’s “Fast X” is racing into theaters this weekend, and it’s picked up $7.5 million in Thursday previews at the domestic box office.
The 10th “Fast and Furious” is predicted to open to more than $60 million. That would make it the franchise’s seventh-highest debut, between 2021’s “F9: The Fast Saga” ($70 million) and 2019’s “Hobbs and Shaw” spinoff ($60 million). In terms of Thursday previews, those movies made $7.1 million and $5.8 million, respectively.
“F9” released during the pandemic, when around 80% of theaters were still shuttered, giving “Fast X” a shaky outlook in the U.S. However, international sales have played a major part in the “Fast and Furious” global box office hauls. “Fast X” is targeting $220 million overseas in its first weekend. After costing $340 million to produce and $100 million to promote, “Fast X” will need to keep its foot on the gas after it opens to net a large profit.

If you live your life a quarter mile of a time and haven't seen "Fast X" just yet, look away now! This article contains major spoilers for the Fast family.
Have you caught your breath yet? "Fast X" certainly lived up to the hype (you can read /Film's review by Ethan Anderton here) in terms of putting Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto and the rest of his racing crew through the wringer, overloading this latest sequel with constant action that somehow kept topping itself with each and every set piece. All of that culminated with a frankly mind-melting third act finale, which paid off on previous comments that the blockbuster would end on a daring cliffhanger.

The Fast Saga is one of the unlikeliest franchises in modern Hollywood -- one that originated with a movie that didn't really hint at any larger world to be explored in sequels, much less important characters beyond its protagonists. Nevertheless, the "Fast & Furious" property has continued to expand its universe with each new entry, along the way adding several new players to its recurring cast and shattering the laws of physics into who-knows-how-many pieces.
While the original "Fast and the Furious" had fellowship and family as big themes, it wouldn't be until a few movies later that the concept of family would really come to define the franchise, even more so than the (super-fast) cars. As it did, Dominic Toretto's humble crew (composed primarily of small-time robbers and gearheads) grew to include everyone from super hackers to international spies, even as the members of Dom's original team fell by...

The "Fast & Furious" franchise has taken quite the ride, growing from a modest "Point Break" riff to globe-trotting espionage, borderline superhero movies (with cars). Along the way, it left the laws of physics in the dust. There are currently 11 "Fast & Furious," the 10 mainline films plus the spin-off "Hobbs & Shaw" — or are there?
Director Justin Lin (who directed five of these eleven films) made himself a household name with 2002's "Better Luck Tomorrow." The film centers on four Asian-American high school students in Orange County, California: overachieving Ben (Parry Shen), his nerdy best friend Virgil (Jason Tobin), Virgil's cool cousin Han (Sung Kang), and valedictorian Daric (Roger Fan). Afflicted with ennui, the four begin committing petty crimes, which escalate to robbery and then murder — the victim is Steve (John Cho), boyfriend of Ben's crush Stephanie (Karin Anna Cheung).

You may recall that the last entry in the Fast and Furious saga, 2021’s F9, featured a sequence in which two of the Avengers our heroes—the comic foils Tyrese Gibson and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges—drove a car into outer space. There is not anything quite as wacky as that in the 10th and latest installment, Fast X, but there are still plenty of reality-defying stunts that keep this franchise from returning to Earth in any fashion that’s recognizably rooted in reality.
Still, back in F9, one got the sense that the film was at least leaning into its sheer ridiculousness, which made it more palatable and entertaining. With one notable exception, however, Dominic Toretto’s much-discussed Family is now taking itself far too seriously. As a result, the 141-minute movie is a fairly lumbering and tedious sit.

The upcoming Barbie movie features quite the ensemble cast, but one cast-member was included entirely by accident. John Cena appeared on Today with Hoda & Jenna where he revealed that his appearance in Barbie came about because the movie happened to be filming across the street from Fast X.
“It was a happy accident,” John Cena said of his Barbie appearance. “I think Barbie and Fast X share a lot of parallels. Their cast list is amazing. The Barbie cast list is amazing. The Fast X cast list is amazing. It was a chance maybe to [say], ‘Hey, would you guys be willing to have me if I could do something?’” The actor said that he pitched himself directly to Margot Robbie, saying that he would “pretty much do whatever you guys need.” When they asked him if he wanted to be a merman, he agreed immediately.

It's the beginning of the end for Dom Toretto and the Fast Family, as "Fast X" is making its way to theaters. Will it be the beginning of the originally planned two-part finale? Or are we getting a full trilogy to help wrap up the "Fast" saga? Either way, this movie is going to help bring things in for a landing after more than 20 years. There will still be more "Fast" in our future, however, and if there's more to come for a franchise, you know what that means: credits scenes! Usually, anyhow, largely thanks to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
So, for those headed to see the latest "Fast and Furious" movie in theaters, we're here to help set some expectations with a spoiler-free guide to the movie's credits scenes. Again, this is spoiler-free. This is just so moviegoers know whether or not they need to hold off on that...

This piece is part of a new series featuring frank accounts of the strike from Hollywood writers at different levels in their careers. The diarists have been granted anonymity to encourage candor.
Now it’s getting real. That initial, Chayefsky-esque thrill of telling AMPTP to go fuck itself is starting to fade. All the truckers still blare their horns in union solidarity, and the energy’s still amped — this week the Latinx Writers Committee flooded Universal and the African American Writers Committee all but laid siege to Paramount — but now there’s a routine.
The [Writers] Guild’s almost out of blank signs, so you have to pick through a cluster of someone else’s used slogans when you check in. It’s like sorting through the t-shirt rack at Target to find just the right snark to fit your mood. (Is today more a “ChatGPTDeezNuts” day or a “Nice Tesla,...

The women of “Fast & Furious” are ready to hop in the driver’s seat. “Fast X” stars Brie Larson, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez told Et this week they “would love” to do an all-female series spinoff.
“I don’t think we’d be mad about anything that involved ladies all together,” Larson told Et’s Nischelle Turner at the “Fast X” premiere in Rome on Friday.
Rodriguez echoed her co-star’s excitement. “There’s nobody better,” she said. “I’m all about it! Bring it!”
“Here’s what I would like to see,” Brewster said. “I would like to see Charlize [Theron], me, Natalie [Emmanuel], Michelle, Brie. I would like to see us all kick some ass together!”
The team all agreed the spinoff could be great for Hollywood’s future. “God knows Hollywood could use one of those,” Rodriguez said. “We don’t have any good ones, not really,...

Meadow Walker‘s cameo in “Fast X” truly incorporates what everyone knew and loved about Paul Walker by exuding humbleness, just one of the many redeeming qualities that exemplified her late father.
Speaking to Et’s Nischelle Turner at the “Fast X” premiere in Rome, the 24-year-old model-turned-actress spoke about the significance of the cameo, how the”Fast” family truly has become her family and how the role came about. On Thursday, Meadow shared a photo of herself captured on a set monitor in a glimpse of her cameo in the Louis Leterrier-directed film.
Meadow was only a year old when her father starred in the first instalment, but it’s not until the penultimate instalment (the franchise is ending with the 11th and final instalment) that she makes her own appearance, albeit low-key, and that’s by design, because that’s how Paul would have wanted it.

Vin Diesel is teasing a potential 12th “Fast and Furious” film.
The long-standing franchise, which kicked off in 2001, was expected to end after the 11th and final instalment in the saga, however Diesel is giving fans some hope that the finale may end with a 12th film instead.
The upcoming “Fast X” — the franchise’s 10th instalment — is supposed to be the first film in the two-part finale, followed by the 11th movie, but, on Friday at the “Fast X” world premiere in Rome, Diesel let it slip that there’s a possibility that the finale may be split across three films, meaning a surprise 12th film could be in the works.

Fast X hits theaters next week and the first reactions to the beginning of the saga’s grand finale have emerged. If you’re not a fan of the Fast & Furious franchise, it doesn’t sound as though Fast X will win you over at this point. But if you’re already on board, get ready for the same non-stop thrills and over-the-top action you’ve come to expect. There was also plenty of praise for Jason Momoa, who plays the latest villain of the series. Check out the Fast X first reactions below!
#FastX belongs to Jason Momoa and his decadent bad guy, Dante Reyes. Fierce and flamboyant, his perilous peacocking adds a sharp edge and some refreshing dark humor. The rest is ludicrousness with clunky elements but it is stupidly entertaining. What the Fast were you expecting? pic.twitter.com/9Xeuj2In7z

Fasten your seatbelts, folks! There could be another Fast & Furious sequel on the way! That’s right, grease monkeys! While attending Fast X‘s world premiere in Rome, Vin Diesel said the finale could expand into three films! Fast 12, baby! Let’s go!
The core Fast & Furious franchise finale is already a two-part event. Still, Universal might not be pulling an “ejecto seato” on the Fast family’s high-octane adventures yet.
“Going into making this movie, the studio asked if this could be a two-parter,” Diesel said. “And after the studio saw this one, they said, ‘Could you make “Fast X,” the finale, a trilogy?'”
“It’s three acts in any story,” Michelle Rodriguez added, who was walking the red carpet alongside Diesel.
When asked if they were confirming another Fast & Furious sequel, Diesel pumped the breaks by saying, “You’re gonna get me in trouble here.

Vin Diesel is revving his engine for yet another “Fast and Furious” film.
The lead star and franchise producer teased that a possible “Fast X” trilogy may be in the works. The tenth “Fast and Furious” installment was originally set to be part one of a two-part finale to the long-running high concept films.
“Without giving away too much, I can say this, going into making this movie, the studio had asked if this could be a two-parter and after the studio saw this Part One, they said, ‘Could you make “Fast X: The Finale” a trilogy?'” Diesel told Fandango.
Co-star Michelle Rodriguez added, “It’s three acts in any story.”
Diesel hinted, “You probably are [getting a trilogy].”
IndieWire has reached out to Universal for comment.
Along with Diesel and Rodriguez, “Fast X” also stars returning stars Sung Kang, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and Nathalie Emmanuel, with Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren,...

The “Fast and Furious” franchise might not be ending as quickly as fans previously thought. The upcoming “Fast X” is being billed by Universal Pictures as the beginning of the end of the saga, which kicked off in 2001. The plan has long been to split the finale into two films, “Fast X” and the upcoming 11th installment, but franchise mastermind Vin Diesel let it slip at the “Fast X” world premiere in Rome that the finale might actually be spread across three films instead, which means a surprise 12th “Fast and Furious” movie might be on the way.
Variety has reached out to Universal Pictures for comment.

There are some members of the Fast & Furious team who have been with the franchise since the very beginning, including stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster. And then there are the newbies — those who are joining the team for the first time with the latest film in the series, Fast X. In that group are Rita Moreno, Jason Momoa, and Brie Larson. Even though she’s a newcomer, Larson says it felt like she was immediately welcomed into the Fast family. Meadow Walker Thornton-Allan, daughter of the late “Fast and Furious” star Paul Walker, was literally born into the Fast Family. But now, she’s making her first onscreen appearance in “Fast X.”
Walker shared a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram teasing her appearance in the Universal movie, which appears to take place on a plane. “Fast X” is set to make its world premiere in Rome on Friday.
“The first ‘Fast’ was released when I was one year old!” Walker captioned the post, explaining how the cameo came to be. “I grew up on set watching my father, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris and more on the monitors. Thanks to my dad, I was born into the fast family. I can’t believe now I get to be up there too. With those who have been around to see me grow up.”

Saturday proved to be a better day than anticipated for the third adventure of the Guardians as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 finishes its first weekend with an estimated $114 million, $4 million over what it was looking like it would finish with in yesterday’s update. By any other metric, an opening that large would be cause for celebration but for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, that number represents a fairly large drop off from the previous entry in the franchise as Guardians Vol. 2 pulled in $146.5 million when it opened exactly six years ago to the day and is also softer than what the studio (and I) were projecting on Thursday. But there are several reasons why this isn’t all bad news, with the first being that the film performed exceptionally well around the world and is looking at a nearly $270 million worldwide start followed by the fact that Vol.

Vin Diesel had CinemaCon audiences worked up, laughing and cheering with off-script moments as he thanked theater owners for their work over the years on the Fast and Furious saga.
“I should be reading from the teleprompter. But you guys don’t give a shit about the teleprompter,” Diesel said to applause during a slow, methodical speech in which he waxed philosophical about the values of family and his love for theaters. At one point, he mockingly read the rather trite words he was supposed to deliver, something about Fast picking up the mantle while Avengers rested and Star Wars put down the lightsaber. More laughs and cheers from the crowd ensued.
The star of Fast X revealed that Fast 11 would arrive in 2025.
“Thank you for riding with me for a quarter of a century,” said Diesel, who added, “I like this room better than the Oscars. And you know I really mean that…...

Actor Michelle Rodriguez is a Hollywood mainstay. She’s been a movie star for over 20 years and appeared in several hit franchises. That includes roles in the Fast & Furious films and 2009’s Avatar. But despite her many action movies, Rodriguez recently shared why she no longer does most of her stunts.

Rodriguez demonstrated a knack for on-screen physicality upon her feature film debut. In 2000, she starred in director Karyn Kusama’s Girlfight as a young woman trying to make it in the male-dominated boxing world.
The following year, the actor landed her signature role as Letty Ortiz in the 2001 surprise smash The Fast and the Furious. But in addition to her continuing role in that franchise, Rodriguez has appeared in many other action hits. They include 2002’s Resident Evil,...

The Fast and Furious franchise has had its fair share of unforgettable villains, including Johnny Tran (Rick Yune), Carter Verone (Cole Hauser), Owen Shaw (Luke Evans), Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), and Cipher (Charlize Theron) to name a few. Each character is larger than life and knows how to disrupt the Fast family dynamic. However, a new nemesis with a significant axe to grind is about to enter the driver’s seat for Fast X, and Michelle Rodriguez says he’s the best male villain yet. I’m talking about Jason Momoa’s Dante Reyes, of course.
Speaking on Collider Ladies Night to promote the upcoming release of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Rodriguez said Momoa’s Reyes is the best male villain the Fast & Furious franchise has ever had.
“Revenge with a smirk. It sounds light, but when you see [the movie], you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

Universal Pictures keeps it all in the family for its new Fast X poster. The latest poster (featured below) for the highly-anticipated Fast & Furious sequel finds Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) front and center, with Fast family members and villains surrounding him. Toward the bottom of the poster, we see the City of Rio de Janeiro, the statue of Christ the Redeemer, and a street race primed and ready to rip through crowded streets.
Louis Leterrier directs Fast X from a screenplay by Justin Lin and Dan Mazeau. Returning castmembers include Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto, Scott Eastwood as Little Nobody, Tyrese Gibson as Roman, Sung Kang as Han, Ludacris as Tej, Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey, Charlize Theron as Cipher, and Helen Mirren as Queenie.

Throughout its ten instalments (and counting), the Fast Saga’s Dante – as seen above in a world-first look.
“He’s an incredible new character,” promises director Louis Leterrier. “It’s 1,000 per cent Momoa.” And he’s not the only problem for the Fast family this time around, since Cypher is still pulling all kinds of digital and vehicular strings in her mysterious grand plan. “They are bad news, but one is more afraid than the other. One is worse news than the other,” Leterrier teases of the villain dynamic this time around.
Also entering the fray is Brie Larson’s mysterious Tess – and where exactly she lands of Fast’s sliding (and ever-changing) scale of heroes and villains remains to be seen. But she enters a maelstrom of high-octane action and familial factions that, according to Leterrier, has been a long time coming. “When you have fought so hard to...

Festivals are always exciting - new films, exciting debuts, new features from much-loved and established directors - it’s always a blast. But one of the most exciting things is to see the work of brand-new artists. New voices who have come to the scene loving film (particularly horror) and are eager to make their mark and add their perspective to the filmmaking world.
Honeycomb is the debut feature from just such a filmmaker. Avalon Fast brings us a story that is part The Virgin Suicides, part Lord of the Flies, with a dash of Yellowjackets thrown in for good measure. It’s the story of a group of girls who decide to disappear into the wilderness the summer after they graduate from high school. One of the girls, Willow, has discovered an abandoned house deep in the woods. “It was almost like it called to me,” she later explained.

Mo’ speedsters, mo’ problems is typically The Flash‘s mantra. But could Dr. Meena Dhawan aka Fast Track prove to be a true superfriend?
At the close of the CW series’ June 8 episode, The Flash (played by Grant Gustin) caught up to Central City’s latest, mysterious speedster, who promptly doffed her makeshift mask and revealed herself to be Dr. Meena Dhawan, an esteemed scientist (and a popular character from the comic books). Rightly impressed by Meena’s ingenuity/ability to create artificial speed, Barry offered to mentor the new ally.
