Lisa Jacobson(VI)
- Actress
After graduating Stanford University with degrees in Theatre and Political Economics, Lisa was selected from thousands of applicants as one of only 40 young actors to attend the prestigious American Conservatory Theatre's Acting MFA program. Being a born and bred Jersey girl, she couldn't wait to move back east to NYC afterward. After auditioning she was chosen to study with William Esper himself, followed by five years with Bobby Lewis. Lisa had some immediate success in small roles playing a young Lebanese soldier on The Guiding Light and as Lorraine Braccho's sister in Goodfellas. To support herself she started an education business which grew exponentially, and within a year she had 40 employees and 500 clients, yet as an actress she was often told she would have been a strong contender for this role or that role but her look was just too "ethnic." She made the decision to leave acting and focus on her business. A few decades and 3000 employees later, Lisa has now returned to acting at a time in our lives when we now see every type of look represented in the media for every type of role, and she very much looks forward to getting back to the acting career she started in her 20s.
