Pointless has been renewed by the BBC for a further 110 episodes.
The quiz show, produced by Remarkable Games, will return for its 14th and 15th series in 2015.
The upcoming run will also include 38 episodes of Pointless Celebrities.
Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman present the show, which airs on weekdays on 5.15pm on BBC One.
"As we head towards our 1000th episode, Pointless continues to go from strength to strength," said James Fox, Pointless executive producer and creative director of Remarkable Games.
"This is testament to the brilliance of Xander and Richard, our hard-working production team and our fantastically loyal viewers. We can't wait to bring them even more Pointless facts and fun in 2015 and beyond."
"Our audience love spending time with Xander and Richard and there is no sign of the appetite for the show waning," added BBC commissioning editor Pam Cavannagh.
Osman's other quiz show Two Tribes was recently renewed for a second series.

Mark Benton will host a new BBC One daytime quiz show which is all about brains... and balls.
The Edge will feature four contestants in each episode, battling it out in a knockout for the right to roll balls down cash lanes.
The hopefuls will answer questions at the podiums to attempt to select the best runway, before rolling for cash - and the nearer the ball gets to The Edge, the more money they win. However, if the balls roll over The Edge, they could be eliminated.
Only one contestant will be left standing in the final round, as the more questions they get right, the bigger The Edge grows.
They will then be given the chance to roll a ball onto The Edge to take home all their winnings - or can choose to roll for half with two balls, or a quarter with three balls.
"I'm thrilled to be hoesting The Edge,...

EastEnders star Shane Richie will host a new BBC game show called Decimate.
The actor, who plays Walford's Alfie Moon, will lead the new show which starts filming in August and launches in the autumn.
Decimate will see contestants battling to maintain a £20,000 cash prize by answering a number of questions. If the participants answer questions incorrectly, the £20,000 pot will be decimated by 10%, Broadcast reports.
Series commissioning editor Pam Cavannagh said: "It has huge play along and a great team dynamic that we know our audience have come to love and enjoy, and with Shane hosting, it is a great addition to our daytime quiz line-up."
Richie previously hosted BBC One game show Reflex, which launched earlier this year.
