- Runner up Strongest man of Holland indoor 1996, Runner up Qualifiers the Strongest man of the Netherlands 1997-Fifth in finals, Won the Strongest man of Bos and Lommer 1998, Runner up Calgary Strongman Challenge 1999, 6th place Full Strength Team Challenge 2000 (with team Netherland).
- Announced his filmmaking ambitions in the Dutch magazine Hp/De Tijd (Droomobject) (1999).
- Did a brief camera directing course in 2000 and regards his first three animated shorts as study in practice projects.
- First world record Powerstairs (175-225-275 kg). Only did this event twice. Achieved during the Strongest man of the Netherlands 1997.

- In 2016 he was awarded twice with his animation/psychemation Mamochka (2015): 'Best Chilling Animation' at the Bad Film Fest and 'Best Grindhouse Style Animated Short' at the American Grindhouse Film Festival.
- His father Cor was his coach when he qualified for the Strongest Man Of the Netherlands 1997 and won the Strongest Man Of Bos and Lommer 1998.
