We made it! Part five in the epic five part whoopdie-doo (to quote Veda Pierce). Are you ready? I'm not. But here we go!
I know I give this show a lot of guff (look at me, talking like I'm in the thirties), but the theme really is lovely. The oboe is a criminally under-used instrument. Oh, it's starting. Carlo Treviso is talking in his comically broad Italian accent. He leaves his office and Mildred is there to shake his hand. Mildred wants Carlo Treviso to forward Veda's bills for music lessons to her. Treviso refuses. Kate Winslet's hair is longer - it must be the forties!
