Wayne Routledge scored the opener and made the winner for Wilfried Bony as Swansea upset Manchester United in the Fa Cup to earn their first ever win at Old Trafford. Javier Hernandez gave the hosts parity, but they later saw Fabio sent off.
Swans winger Routledge stunned the Theatre of Dreams by chipping Anders Lindegaard and giving the visitors an early lead. He was set away between the United centre backs by Alejandro Pozuelo’s reverse pass on 12 minutes for his fourth of the season.
The visitors only enjoyed a brief lead, however. David Moyes’s men equalized after a quarter of an hour when Hernandez ended his goal drought by converting a whipped in Alex Buttner cross from close range.

Antonio Valencia then blazed over from another decent Red Devils move following good work by Danny Welbeck.

Former Swansea loan player Steven Caulker settled the South Wales derby in Cardiff City’s favour as the capital club pulled themselves four points clear of relegation danger.
Bluebirds boss Malky Mackay picked Craig Bellamy and faithful retainer Don Cowie in his XI as Korean player Kim and forward Fraizer Campbell dropped out. Otherwise this was the same team that started the goalless draw at Norwich.
Swans manager Michael Laudrup meanwhile had Jonjo Shelvey back in place of Alvaro Vazquez in the only alteration to his side from the home draw with West Ham.
Michu snatched at a shot when a Shelvey centre found him inside five minutes for the visitors and fired wide. Swansea took the game to their hosts in customary passing fashion. Michu worked David Marshall with Shelvey again the source of supply though this time in the centre.
