Wartella is an American director and animator known
for his music video work for The White Stripes and Ozzy Osbourne, as well as his work on films and television including Cartoon Network's MAD(2010-2014), and Wonder Showzen (2005-2006).
Wartella is considered a pioneer of online animation. In 1998 The New York Times described his early animated web short The Dinky Dog Archive as "the Steamboat Willie of the internet".
He is the founder of Brooklyn's Dream Factory Animation, a boutique studio specializing in the production of animated shorts for corporate and indie clients.
