Robynn M. Amy
- Producer
- Additional Crew
Talk about crazy career paths. I have been a performer for over 25 years in various musical endeavors, from classical orchestras and brass quintets, to salsa, jazz, and German polka bands throughout the US. Noch ein bier, bitte!
I've traveled internationally as an artist, clinician and have had the privilege of performing in the Red Sea Jazz Festival in Israel, Heineken Jazz Festival in Puerto Rico, BBC Studios in Scotland, Lincoln Center's Dizzy's Club, amongst others, with artists such as Marlena Shaw, Carmen Bradford, Joe Sample, and Christian McBride. I've been featured in JazzSet with DeeDee Bridgewater, Jazziz's Women in Jazz publication, included in Monterey Jazz Festival's Digital Music Education Project, and recent Girls in the Band documentary, and I could go on, but, it gets a little pretentious.
Throughout all of the experiences, one thing has remained the same: I love all things technology. Born from my first "real" job as a bug-tester for music video games, which quickly morphed into a promotion to Assistant Producer, I have a unique eye for graphics and composition, coupled with the background knowledge of utilizing technology to take the imagined concept through development to a polished, tangible product.
Most recently, I began working as a graphics designer and media developer for a local church - producing countless media slides and mission advertisements each week. I've included in this site a very small collection of some of the creations I've had the pleasure of being a part of.
The world is your stage. Let me adjust your spotlight!
