Laremy predicted the #1 movie correctly 4 Weeks In A Row The Amazing Spider-Man I'm having a hard time figuring out if The Amazing Spider-Man's six day opening total of $140 million is good. Certainly it isn't bad, but is it something to get excited about? Looking at the all-time best six-day openings no matter what day they were released, $140 million is 27th behind Shrek 2 and just ahead of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.
