Bring Me the Horizon have unleashed the new album Post Human: NeX GEn, only letting fans know it was coming just hours before its release. The LP marks the UK band’s first full-length in five years.
While the sudden release is a surprise, the album has been a long-time coming. In fact, it was supposed to arrive last September but was indefinitely delayed due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
Fans have already heard a handful of the songs off Post Human: NeX GEn, as they’ve been sporadically unveiled over the past few years. “DIE4u,” “sTraNgeRs,” “LosT,” “AmEN!,” “DArkSide,’ and “Kool-Aid” were all previously released as singles.
The 16-song album marks Bring Me the Horizon’s first official full-length LP since 2019’s amo, although the band did release the 9-song EP Post Human: Survival Horror in 2020.
Bring Me the Horizon will support the new album this summer on the European festival circuit,...

Underoath is one of the most influential bands of the past 20 years, bringing up a generation of music and anime fans on post-hardcore anthems that still get crowds screaming along night after night. Over the course of their nearly 30-year career, keyboardist/multi-instrumentalist Chris Dudley has been building a family while playing to sold-out crowds each night. Crunchyroll News was able to sit down with him during Underoath's Dallas tour stop in 2023 to learn more about how he has used anime as a way to grow closer to his kids and found a new interest all his own in the process.
