Blueprint has plans for TV exec pair
Two leading international television veterans have joined the creative ranks of Blueprint Entertainment as the production and finance house ramps up its production and development volume.
Marla Ginsburg joins Blueprint as senior vp and will be responsible for developing, packaging and managing a slate of content targeting both traditional television and new-media platforms. Her focus will be in both the domestic and international marketplace, and she will be looking to expand Blueprint's slate of co-production projects.
In addition, Ellie Hannibal comes on board as senior vp creative affairs, where she will primarily focus on development and production of one-hour and half-hour television series for the U.S. cable and broadcast networks.
Ginsburg also will be looking at other business opportunities and new business models in her new role. She will report to company principals and founders John Morayniss and Noreen Halpern, who also serves as president.
Ginsburg has previous international experience, having run the international television division for French studio Gaumont and worked with such companies as Canal+, TF1 and M6 in France over a 15-year period.
