Grant Turck
- Producer
- Manager
In 2007, after reading "The Partner" by John Grisham, Grant Turck approached
Oscar-winning Producer Bob Chartoff ("Rocky") with the novel,
development financing and a proposal to co-produce the feature
adaptation of the 1997 #1 New York Times Bestseller. At the age of 24,
Turck became the youngest person to serve as a producer on a Grisham
adaptation. The project is in active development with a script by
scribe Ann Peacock ("Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the
Wardrobe", "Nights in Rodanthe").
Turck launched his independent feature film and television production company, Grant Turck Productions, in mid 2008. Prior to starting Grant Turck Productions, Turck co-founded Velocity Management - a boutique literary management company that represents writers and directors.
In late 2008, Turck secured the film and television rights to the novel "Aztec" by Gary Jennings. In 2009 he partnered with Mexican-born director Alfonso Arau ("Like Water For Chocolate", "A Walk In The Clouds") to executive produce a limited television series based on the book with Oscar-nominated writer Nicholas Meyer ("The Seven Percent Solution") attached to adapt.
In 2010, Turck is producing a feature film based on the satirical 1957 guidebook "How To Succeed With Women Without Really Trying" by Shepherd Mead ("How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying").
Grant Turck holds a B.A. in Public Relations from Pepperdine University and currently resides in Santa Monica, CA.
