Paper Mill Playhouse has just announced the cast and creative team for Boeing-Boeing, directed by James Brennan. The cast features Anne Horak Gretchen, Brynn O'Malley Gabriella, Heather Parcells Gloria, John Scherer Robert, Matt Walton Bernard and Tony Award-winner Beth Leavel Berthe. The show begins performances on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, and runs at the Millburn theater through Sunday, February 12, 2012. The official press opening is scheduled for Sunday, January 22, 2012. Boeing-Boeing is sponsored by American Airlines, the official airline of Paper Mill Playhouse.

Last night on CollegeHumor's Live Cast Hardly Working's Jake and Amir announced a new show: Jake and Amir: Fired. Three thousand fans tuned into the live stream to ask questions about the new online special and upcoming DVD release. This is CollegeHumor's first (independent) foray into long-form content. Fired will be distributed through Facebook (and can be purchased with Facebook credits) as well as CollegeHumor.com. The DVD, distributed through Bustedtees and Amazon, will feature bonus footage including a short and behind-the-scenes clips. The 30-minute special was produced entirely in house at CollegHumor. In the story, CollegeHumor's CEO Alan Avery (played by Matt Walton) makes Jake an offer he doesn't refuse: fire Amir and get a promotion. The soap community took to Twitter last night and this morning in reaction to New York state passing an historic Marriage Equality law. The New York Senate has voted 33-29 to legalize same-sex marriage following easy passage in the House. New York is now the sixth state allowing gay and lesbian couples to marry. Governor Andrew Cuomo will sign the bill and it will go into effect in 30 days. Here's a sample of the reactions below:
