- Additional Crew
Marsha Pitt displays great talent and perseverance in everything that
she does. Born in Canada, she overcame her first obstacle early in her
life when she started tapping despite her inability to walk until she
was three years old. From then on, her drive along with her grace have
earned her the titles of Miss Dance Canada and Miss Black Canada.
Presenting an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, she has mastered the
piano, singing, and acting. This has allowed her to be part of the
original cast of Disney's "The Lion King," in which she received great
reviews from theater legends such as Aubrey Lynch II and Brian Hill.
Her extensive tapping knowledge has also provided her with the
experience to produce her "Tapology" DVD, where Marsha instructs
viewers through an audio-visual link, making it easy for a beginner to
understand complex tap moves. The DVD also showcases Marsha's singing
abilities through the "Peek a Boo" music video, where Marsha's sultry
and sensuous voice is complimented by charming tap moves. In addition
to great personal accomplishments, Marsha has taught numerous classes,
lessons, and workshops serving as a role model to her community and to
those around her.
