He began his NFL career as a quarterback in 2003 with the Baltimore Ravens until 2008. He then signed with the St. Louis Rams in April 2009, playing 7 games in total. In April 2010, he joined the Oakland Raiders until 2011, replacing quarterback Jason Campbell after an injury against the Cleveland Browns.
