With her upcoming project Maatr, Raveena is going to be seen in a fierce avatar, ready to seek redemption against the system and corrupt individuals.
As the title of the film speaks about a mother, it holds a lot of meaning in itself. A mother can go to any extent to protect her child. Commenting on the same, Raveena said, “Without revealing much, I can definitely tell you that it is a very thought provoking film. The character I’m playing is of a mother and about a family that undergoes something that is horrifying”.
Hard-hitting films often leave an impact on actors. Talking about her experience while shooting for Maatr, Raveena said, “I have shot this on reel, but believe me I was disturbed for days together. I can only imagine, of the living nightmare that a victim and their family goes through and the brutality they have to...

We have a look at the trailer of the film Maatr and honestly it is heart wrenching. The film features the brilliant Raveena Tandon and revolves around the story of a mother fighting to get justice for her deceased daughter.
Tandon’s role transitions from a helpless mother to a powerful woman. A woman who is abandoned by not only the judicial system, but also her own husband, takes matters into her own hands and gets ready to seek revenge!
Commenting on the trailer, Raveena said, “I am so excited that the trailer is finally out for people to see. I have given this film everything and it has been an emotionally draining yet fulfilling experience. Seeing how much the trailer is being appreciated is overwhelming.”
It’s great to see Raveena play such an unconventional yet fierce character and we can’t wait to see more!!

November 13, 2010: As many as four films are lined up for release this Friday but none of them come with good enough ammunition to set the box office on fire. A Flat, Ramaa – The Saviour, Diwangi Ne Had Kar Di and Dunno Y Na Jaane Kyun… are the four films in question but none of these have managed to create much publicity for themselves in the weeks leading to the release. A Flat is a horror film starring Jimmy Sheirgill in the lead and though the film sees the actor reuniting with his A Wednesday producer Anjum Rizvi, the buzz is clearly missing with not much being churned out of the marketing and promotional machinery.

The glamorous lady who is a part of Anjum Rizvi’s forthcoming release ‘Fast Forward’ almost had Vinod Khanna irked right on the first day of their shoot.
From what we hear, Bhavna Pani reported almost an hour late for the shoot. Well no, it wasn’t some starry tantrums she was throwing around, but a miscommunication owing to which she was informed of a wrong timing to report.
However after reaching the set, she learnt Vinod Khanna and the rest of the team, which consisted of almost 500 people, had only been waiting for her to start off.

Rehan Khan, one of the leading actors of Anjum Rizvi’s forthcoming release “Fast Forward” was sure a nervous wreck on the very first day of shoot. Before you think that it was the ‘first day’ pressure, the actual reason behind his nervousness was his vertigo problem!
Apparently he was required to shoot on 42 floor of a building and knowing his height phobia, it was all kept hush-hush from the actor. Rehan was to sit on the ledge of the building for the particular scene. Upon being informed ultimately, Rehan pleaded to his director Zaigham Ali Sayed to alter it and preferably make it.

This director of the surprise-hit film of last year might not have thought about this in the wildest of his dreams.

But surprisingly of late he is finding it difficult to sign up stars for his next venture, as of now known as Fast Forward.
Shahid Kapoor has supposedly refused the director as he was said to be confused about.
