Sholeh Alemi Fabbri has been producing award-winning content for two decades and has received three Canadian Screen Award nominations. In 2021, she launched Good Measure Productions and is developing several projects, including ECLIPSE with writer/director duo Atefeh Khademolreza and Samuel Kiehoon Lee while Heather Haldane (MAUDIE) serves as Producer/EP. Sholeh and Samuel recently produced Atefeh's short animated documentary METEOR (TIFF '23) about grief and defiance in the face of the repression suffered by women and the LGBTQ+ community in Iran. The film was selected as Best Canadian Short at the 2024 Kingston Canadian Film Festival.
in 2024, Sholeh was selected by Telefilm as one of 10 participants in the Producers without Borders initiative to attend the Berlinale Co-Production Market Visitor program. In 2022 and 2023, she was participated in the Banff Spark Accelerator program for Women Entrepreneurs in Media at the Banff World Media Festival.
Good Measure Productions has also led impact work and audience development on several productions, including PLASTIC PEOPLE (Ben Addelman), LAST OF THE RIGHT WHALES (Nadine Pequeneza), SCRAP (Stacey Tenenbaum), and PEACE BY CHOCOLATE (Jonathan Keijser). Prior to starting her own production company, Sholeh was the Executive Producer of ET Canada for over seven years.
Sholeh sits on the board of Artists for Peace and Justice, a non-profit organization that supports access to education for impoverished youth in Haiti. She is a member of the Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA), the DOC Institute, WIFT-Toronto and a foundering member of Producing 4 the Planet.
