Deadpool is set to release later this year for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. He decided it was time to tell you his story and made a rather interesting trailer for you guys to watch. Now don't waste any more time-- Deadpool awaits!
From the Press Release
Deadpool has just released the newest trailer from his self-made, self-published (with a minor credit to High Moon Studios and Activision) video game, Deadpool, coming later this year for the Xbox 360, PlayStation3, and Windows-pc. We could tell you what to expect from it, but we wouldn’t dare try to top the commentary already provided by the…erm…poet laureate of Marvel, so we’ll let the Merc with Video Editing Software take it from here.
Deadpool Speaks:

The game is written by Daniel Way, with voice acting by Nolan North, rated 'M' for 'Mature', featuring intense violence, mature humor, sexual content, and strong language, available Summer 2013 :
The third-person action game, is a combination of 'melee' and shooting, with an emphasis on sword-play and gun-fire. The 'Deadpool' character also breaks the 'fourth wall', by verbally interacting with players based on their skill and progress.

We have to resolve ourselves to the fact that the Daniel Way-penned "Deadpool" game coming out of High Moon Studios will probably be kind of dumb. I don't mean it won't be fun (after their "Transformers" games, I suspect High Moon might know how to make an action adventure title). You'll just have to put up with the motormouthed, fourth wall-breaking "Deadpool" to actually enjoy "Deadpool."
The latest trailer shows off brief snippets of gameplay as well as some bloody cutscene action, adding it to the slim list of licensed comic games to receive the mig "M." Also on display: sometime X-Man and time-tossed savior Cable, who shared a comic with "Deadpool" a few years back at Marvel (it was actually quite good). That series saw alternating/intersecting stories featuring Cable and the Merc With the Mouth as the former tried to create a Utopia while the latter would...

Marvel's Merc with a mouth might be approaching closer than we think, at least based on this ad spotted by Joystiq on the Deadpool Bugle.
The action game from High Moon Studios would seem to be well-placed given the lack of tie-in titles for Marvel's 2013 tentpole feature "Iron Man 3" and lacking any other games to exploit the Marvel brand. "Deadpool" is being written by regular Marvel writer Daniel Way ("Wolverine: Origins," "Deadpool"), and though the details have been scarce, odds are it's your standard third-person character action game with a horribly disfigured anti-hero plagued by fourth wall-breaking voices in his head.

It seems this extremely powerful lady will also be joining the ranks of the Thunderbolts.. "She's one of those characters that really wasn't all that well defined on the page in her previous appearances, but she has a history with the Hulk and with Ross. On paper it seems like she could literally do anything. She's one of those beings who seems to be limited only by her own mission statement and even that in her case is very vague. She's kind of an angel of death character where if you want to die she's there to make sure it happens. What's revealed in the character's continuity is that the people she goes after may act like they want to die,...

Marvel has unveiled that they will be launching a brand new team book that was first teased along with several other upcoming Marvel Now! titles, revealing that a new Thunderbolts series is on the way from writer Daniel Way and Steve Dillon.
The new series was first teased last week with a simple title card that read “Lightning” with a red crosshair over the lettering. We here at GeekRest immediately began to play the guessing game as to which character(s) would be featured in the new title and the Thunderbolts team was high on the probability list. We also had a strong feeling that, if this was to be a Thunderbolts book, there was a good chance that the Punisher might be joining the team’s ranks after Greg Rucka hinted that the vigilante would be joining a team book later in the year.

Daniel Way and Steve Dillon's "Lightening" teaser from last week caused many to guess (correctly) that the duo would be taking on a new Marvel Now! team of Thunderbolts. Newsarama can confirm that this is indeed the case, with the first issue launching in December. As you can see the team consists of Red Hulk, Punisher, Elektra, Venom, and Deadpool. Quite a lineup eh? Apparently Red Hulk - formerly General Ross - will gather the team together. For more on what to expect, click the link below to hear from series editor Jordan D. White.

Yesterday, a new Marvel Now! series from Dennis Hopeless and Kev Walker was teased with a blood splattered word "Survive" our only clue as to what exactly it might be. The day before that saw "Lightning" from Daniel Way and Steve Dillon, so whether all of these are somehow connected isn't clear, although many fans are speculating that these all have something to do with Marvel's covert teams. Today's teaser teams Hopeless up with Invincible Iron Man artist Salvador Larroca. Bleeding Cool have heard a rumor that these guys may be taking over a new Secret Avengers series, but that teaser doesn't look like anything Avengers related to me. It would suggest that a more violent member of the Marvel family would be involved - obviously The Punisher is the first that springs to mind, but he is rumored to be leading Daniel Way and Steve Dillon's new team of (most likely) Thunderbolts we saw teased yesterday. Of course a Wolverine book is always a possibility too. Then there's "The future of Marvel Now! Is Survive", a tagline which might hint at some type of time travel aspect - could Cable be a part of this? We know he is to be featured heavily in the coming months in some capacity. Anyway, it's all speculation for now, be sure to sound off with your theories below.

Activision and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron developer High Moon Studios has passed along a handful of screens and concept art for the upcoming Deadpool game, due out sometime in 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

High Moon and Activision decided to get cute with their press release for Deadpool, writing it in the voice(s) of Marvel's Merc with a Mouth. In between all of the sugar rush, Add text, we now know that regular Marvel writer Daniel Way will be providing the game's script (one of the few successful warcs in his run on Wolverine: Origins featured a knock-down, drag-out conflict between Logan and Deadpool, so I'm hoping he can bring the same manic, bloody charm here).
What else do we know: well, the game will break the fourth wall (naturally) and it will have weapons--lots of weapons.

As Daniel Way's long run on Deadpool comes to an end, Marvel have announced the creative team that will usher in a new era for the fan-favorite character as part of their Marvel Now! relaunch.. Ol Wade Wilson sure does love his Mexican food. Comedians and some-time comic scribes Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan are on board as writers, with Tony Moore supplying the pretty pictures. So aside from this, we know that it'll be Kieron Gillen and Greg Land on Iron Man, Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic on Thor, and Mark Waid And Leinil Yu on Hulk. Who will be announced next? Keep an eye on Cbm to find out.

What seems logical to most rarely happens in the entertainment industry: giving superhero projects to superhero writers. High Moon Studios has decided to snap the trend and enlist Daniel Way, the current author of the Deadpool comic series, to help create a game based on the humorous-yet-deadly assassin. Another popular Way title, Hit Monkey, is also being adapted into a video game by High Moon Studios and Activision....

Bleeding Cool have come across www.hitmonkeygame.com, a website which appears to confirm plans for a video game based on the character from High Moon Studios. As you can see from the screengrab below, it features a link to the Marvel HeroHQ discussion forums and is registered by Marvel. This makes it hard to doubt the speculation that this is the video game they will be announcing at the San Diego Comic-Con next weekend. The Hit-Monkey character was created by Daniel Way and Dalibor Talajić in 2010 and appeared in a three-part miniseries before seemingly being killed at the hands of Deadpool a few months later. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance was released into theaters this past Friday. Ghost Rider is the type of concept that when you look at it, the word 'cool' comes to mind. Prior to this series, the Rider hadn't had a comic book in awhile. He had a miniseries prequel called Road to Damnation a year before, but the last ongoing was the famous Danny Ketch series, which ran from the 90's to the early 2000s. Sadly, the book was canceled due to low sales. So the Ghost Rier character was in limbo for a few years. Then a year before the 2007 film came out, Daniel Way and Mark Texeira unleashed a new ongoing series with Johnny Blaze. So at that time, Ghost Rider was re-sparked. In the coming paragraphs I talk about the first arc, Vicious Cycle. Hope. It's the Devil's favorite poison. Those are the first words of this arc,...

Coinciding with this weeks release of Deadpool #49.1, which sees the 'Merc with a Mouth'singing his way through the entire issue, we have Deadpool editor Jordan D. White taking things to the next level with an actual musical recording. Take a listen! Deadpool, the Musical! by Jordan D. White White himself plays all the instruments and provides the vocals except for the last track which sees actual Deadpool series writer, Daniel Way playing electric guitar and bass. Said White, "This song is not endorsed by or affiliated with Marvel--i did this all on my own time, for no money whatsoever, and I am letting you hear it and have it for completely free. There's a download button up there, feel free to save it and listen to it over and over again! That being said, it is based on a comic both Dan and I worked hard on, so we'd sure...

I don't think that many of us really took the concept of Wade Wilson dying that seriously when word hit that next February's 50th issue of Deadpool would see him meet his maker. But while speaking to Newsarama about it Daniel Way acknowledges that fans have become "jaded" with characters being killed off and that this arc (a five issue run called "Deadpool: Dead") will not be something we can prepare for. Here is an excerpt from Newsarama's interview with Way in which the writer also reveals which other characters will be making an appearance in the story.. Nrama: Moving on to "Dead" itself — obviously, character death is a loaded concept in comics, especially with a character like Deadpool. How seriously should readers be taking the concept? Tone-wise, does the story play things pretty straight, or is it more of a commentary on the concept of death in superhero comics?...

Yes, it seems the unkillable Wade Wilson will be taking a dirtnap in his 50th issue next February. No word yet as to just how serious this is (I mean lets face it, with this character anything is possible) but here is what we do know so far. In February 2012’s Deadpool #50, the Merc With a Mouth finally finds a way to die, and with the help of writer Daniel Way and artist Carlo Barberi he’s ready to take it. Check back tomorrow for more information. There you go, updates should be in tomorrow. Will he stay dead for more than a couple of months? I for one hope so! I like the character but I could do without seeing him for a while. By TwitterButtons.com...

Marvel Comics' "Deadpool" #43, available September 14, 2011, is written by Daniel Way, with illustrations by Carlo Barberi and a cover by Dave Johnson :
"...after a brief stint in a maximum-security mental institution, 'Deadpool' is back on the streets and back on track, running headlong toward oblivion as fast as his little red feet can take him.
But something causes him to stumble...or, rather, someone, because Deadpool's about to get a girlfriend. And nothing's going to stop her (because nothing can stop her)..."

Rob Williams has admitted that he is excited to begin his run on Daken: Dark Wolverine because of the freedom he has been given with the character. Williams takes over from Daken creator Daniel Way and co-writer Marjorie Liu as the title's new writer later this month, beginning with a special Point One issue. The former 2000 Ad writer said that Daken appeals to him because he doesn't have any continuity baggage like so many other Marvel and DC Comics superheroes. "When you're working in the Marvel Universe, most of the characters you get to write about have been around for at least 20 years," Williams told Comic Book Resources. "Daken is still fresh and there's not much continuity there, so there's a (more)...
