Everyone’s favorite “America’s Got Talent” winner, ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer, returned to the show that made her a household name during Wednesday’s Semifinals 1 results episode. Darci Lynne brought out her rabbit puppet Petunia to a wild standing ovation at the Dolby Theatre, with Petunia bragging she now has “one name star status,” just like Beyonce and Adele. The dynamic duo then performed “It’s A Man’s World” in honor of stand-up comedian Preacher Lawson, who Darci Lynne beat in Season 12 as well as in spinoff series “Agt: The Champions.” Watch the fun video above.

It’s only been two years since Kevin Hart last hosted “Saturday Night Live,” and yet Hart will find himself interacting with plenty of new not ready for primetime players. (Nearly half the cast is new in that time.) Hopefully that leads to a better episode, as his initial hosting gig didn’t produce a particularly memorable episode. Will we see another great episode, or are the Powers That Be already focused on next month’s 40th anniversary extravaganza? Only one way to find out: via liveblogging tonight’s episode! Honestly, all I want is another “Z-Shirt” sketch. Then I’ll be happy. I’m easy to please that way. Come back at 11:30 pm Est and follow along! Martin Luther King...

Confirming a number of rumors I’ve heard around lately, a few news items appeared online this week about the opposite fates of two Broadway shows and one theater.
The New York Times reported that the Broadway production of War Horse, which is based on Michael Morpurgo‘s children’s novel of the same name and which was also the basis for Stephen Spielberg‘s Oscar-nominated film, has set a closing date of Jan. 6, 2013. The show opened on April 14, 2011, and went on to win five Tony Awards, including Best Play and Best Director. As of its closing date, the show will have played 718 regular performances and 33 previews at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre.
