As a child Cheri Atkinson knew she wanted to act and found as many
opportunities to do just that. She studied Theatre Arts at Southern
Oregon University, home of the Shakespearean Festival, where she became
interested in the technical end and designed lights, makeup and
costumes. After a lot of self explorations, Cheri made the decision to
pursue her passion for acting. "I knew acting was meant to be my work."
She took as many acting courses as she could find at local colleges and
with private individuals. Cheri's first two auditions landed her the
lead in "Gioconda Smile" and "Play On". She later played Amanda in the
"The Glass Menagerie" and Mrs. Robinson in "The Graduate". She went on
to perform in local plays, commercials and films.
