AMC is doubling down on the Anne Rice Immortal Universe.
The cable network confirmed the development of a third series set in the fictional supernatural universe during AMC Networks' upfronts presentation in New York.
Oscar-nominated John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) is attached as showrunner and writer for the potential third series, which comes after the success of Interview With the Vampire and Mayfair Witches.
"The series is set in the world of the Talamasca, a secretive organization featured in a number of Rice's iconic novels that is devoted to studying the supernatural world and keeping mortals safe from its darkest elements," the logline teases.
The currently untitled series would join AMC/AMC+'s Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire and Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches, which became the top two new series premieres ever on AMC+ and rank among the top 10 cable dramas in the 2022/2023 television season to date...

We tv is expanding its slate with one new scripted drama and one new reality series. “Toya & Reginae” is a new reality series that centers around rapper Lil Wayne’s ex-wife, Toya Johnson-Rushing, and their daughter, Reginae Carter, while “Bev Is Boss” is a narrative show about music managing mogul Deb Antney. Head of programming Dan McDermott announced the news Tuesday as part of AMC Networks’ upfronts.
Of the two projects, “Toya & Reginae” falls more in line with We tv’s previously existing slate of unscripted content. The series will showcase the highs and lows of a mother-daughter duo that’s been in the spotlight for years. It promises to give fans a peak behind what they see on social media as it explores their love lives, careers, family dynamics and their “seemingly dysfunctional family.”

We tv has commissioned two new music-centric series.
During Tuesday’s Upfronts, AMC Studios’ President of Original Programming Dan McDermott announced an expansion of the Growing Up Hip Hop franchise with the unscripted series Toya & Reginae, as well as a new scripted series based on the life of music managing mogul Deb Antney, Bev is Boss.
Toya & Reginae will feature ex-wife and daughter of hip hop legend Lil Wayne, Toya Johnson-Rushing and Reginae Carter, both of whom appeared on Growing Up Hip Hop. On each episode, fans will get to peek behind the curtain and see who they truly are: what’s happening in their love lives, how they navigate those relationships in conjunction with their exciting and demanding careers and their relationship with each other. As happy as they seem on social media, their lives are unpredictable and full of chaos as they navigate a seemingly dysfunctional family.
