Donald Conley is a 2020 Screenwriters Colony Fellow. Born and raised in Chicago, Donald's critically-acclaimed film, SLEEP, premiered on HBO in 2013. Donald went on to Associate Produce Darius Clark Monroe's feature documentary, Evolution of a Criminal. In 2016, Evolution of a Criminal made its broadcast premiere on PBS's Independent Lens.
In 2018, Donald produced South Oxford, All Iowa Lawn Tennis Club, Maravilla, Serve, a series of four short documentaries based on articles published by Racquet Magazine. Executive produced by Topic, the Racquet shorts premiered at the 2019 Whitney Museum Biennial.
Donald's latest producing effort, Change the Name, was an official selection of Procter & Gamble's 2021 Queen Collective Tribeca Film Festival documentary program. Change the Name made its broadcast debut on BET. Donald holds a BFA from NYU and a MA in Classical Drama from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
