Bryson Gregory Kuan was born January 27, 1988, in Salt Lake City, Utah,
to Samuel and Becky Kuan. Bryson is the middle child; he has an older
brother and a younger sister. He grew up in a musically oriented family
and has a great voice to prove it. Not only can he sing, but he can
also do many character voices as well. He started his career by
performing in local theatre productions, singing and acting in such
musicals as "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Footloose". He also earned the
highest advancement in the Professional Actor's Workshop through his
personal acting coach Lance Williams. Bryson continued to get work as
an extra and as a featured actor with the help of his friend, casting
director Shawn Mehling, in such films as
High School Musical (2006),
American Pastime (2007), and the
CBS series ER (1994). Over the summer of
2007, Bryson was cast as James, a lead role in the independent film
"The Adventures of Y". His latest acting gig came when he got cast as
the Pizza Driver in the Disney channel film
Dadnapped (2008), which
garnered eligibility with the Screen Actor's Guild. If there's one
thing for certain - we'll be seeing a lot more from Bryson Kuan in the
future.
