Ronald L. Gray
- Producer
Ronald L. Gray is an award-winning American post-production professional and proud U.S. Navy Veteran. A huge supporter of many Veteran organizations, including a several year stint as a Post Commander in the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
Born is Glendale, California. Living in California until the start of his 8th grade school year, when his family moved to Carson City, Nevada. Attended Carson Middle School and graduated from Carson High School. Joining the U.S. Navy shortly after graduation from High School.
Ron's interest in Motion Pictures started young, and many that knew him during his time in the military knew that he would some day end up with some sort of involvement in the industry. Following his time in the military Ron remained in the Los Angeles area where he began working as a Motion Picture Audio/Visual Engineer. This position eventually relocated him to Utah, where he continued working in Audio/Visual, as well as getting involved in the independent film market. Working with the Sundance Film Festival for many years, Ron began to make many connections with filmmakers and actors. It wasn't long before Ron found he wanted to make the move from the post- production side of the industry and move into the production portion. Finding small independent projects to start, he would find his interest would be in shorts and documentaries. Continuing to be a huge supporter of Independent Film.
Today he continues to look out for good projects to be a part of, while also exploring other aspects of the industry to get involved in.
An avid love of traveling, Ron was fortunate to have circled the globe, including living in Japan for three and a half years. A fan of foreign films introduced him to many different styles of film making used in different countries. With motion pictures moving into the digital age. Ron was involved in bringing the first digital technologies to several South and Central American Countries.
