Brittany Murphy was juggling a number of movie projects in the months leading up to her sudden death, according to reports. The 32-year-old is set to be buried in a private ceremony after suffering a fatal cardiac arrest at the weekend. A British newspaper reports that Murphy had just completed two indie thrillers and was about to start work on a romantic comedy. Abandoned director Michael Feifer said that the actress was dedicated to her art. 'She knew her material. She was on her game, she was professional, she was there for me, she was healthy,' he said. Scott Chambers, executive producer of Something Wicked, told the Los Angeles Times that Murphy was frail, but had...

"The Insider" has a clip from one of Brittany Murphy's final movies -- the thriller 'Something Wicked.' Earlier today, a film executive who worked with Murphy on the film last summer, said reports that she lost consciousness on the set of that film are untrue. Scott Chambers, a partner in Merchant Films, which produced 'Something Wicked,' as well as the executive producer of the film said the reports are "absolutely untrue." 'Something Wicked,' which centers around a couple planning their wedding who are thwarted by elements that threaten their "happily ever after," is set to hit theaters in June 2010.

From the quotable "Clueless" to the hard-bitten "8 Mile," Brittany Murphy has left behind a legacy of remarkable onscreen roles. But before her sudden death on Sunday, the 32-year-old actress also completed work on several films and was getting set to begin another in January. Not much is known about these low-profile projects, so MTV News got in touch with various producers and reps connected to the films to figure out their status and when audiences might have the chance to see the actress at work in the future.
"Abandoned"
Before her passing, Murphy completed work on this psychological thriller in which she plays a woman with a history of psychiatric issues who accompanies her boyfriend (Dean Cain) to the hospital for surgery, only to have him disappear without a trace.
