General Hospital star Haley Pullos faces two DUI charges following a near-fatal crash in April. Pullos has been charged with one felony count of DUI causing injury, one felony count of driving with a .08 Bac or higher, and one misdemeanor count of hit-and-run, according to a new report from TMZ. She is also being sued by the driver with whom she collided; he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The actress pled not guilty, and a preliminary hearing is set for next month. Pullos was involved in a freeway collision in Pasadena, California, on April 29 while under the influence of alcohol. Todd Wawrychuk via Getty Images A police report obtained by the publication alleges that Pullos collided head-on with another vehicle after she swerved and flew over the dividing barrier into oncoming traffic. The other driver survived the crash but was reportedly taken to hospital with major injuries.

“Brett has a sincere love of movies and film history, and we are excited to welcome him to our group of supporters,” said Bill Kramer, the museum’s managing director of development.
The Academy launched the Museum’s capital campaign in 2012 and has already secured more than half of the campaign’s $300 million goal in commitments. The campaign is chaired by Bob Iger and co-chaired by Annette Bening and Tom Hanks.
“Thanks to the generosity of founding supporters like Brett, we are now able to realize the long-held dream of the Academy and that of the global film community to build a museum dedicated to the history and future of the movies,” said Iger.

Lawrence Oscar interview backstage at the 85th Academy Awards (seen above with Best Supporting Actress winner Anne Hathaway) In the press room backstage at the 85th Academy Awards ceremony, this year's Best Actress winner Jennifer Lawrence had to answer questions from the assembled reporters. One question had to do with the issue of mental illness as depicted in David O. Russell's comedy-drama Silver Linings Playbook and Lawrence's Best Actress Academy Award win. Her response: "I don't think that we're going to stop until we get rid of the stigma for mental illness." (Pictured above: Lawrence and Best Supporting Actress winner Hathaway backstage at the 85th Academy Awards ceremony.) Talking about the hours prior to this year's ceremony, Lawrence made a comparison to Steve Martin in Father of the Bride, "watching my house just be torn apart, and my whole family was getting ready." Jean Dujardin Jean Dujardin made film-award history after he won the 2012 Best Actor Academy Award for his performance as a fading silent-film matinee idol in Michel Hazanavicius' The Artist. But before I proceed, I must say that those who compare Dujardin with former Best Actor Oscar winner Roberto Benigni (Life Is Beautiful, 1998) should watch more French and Italian films. The comparison is ludicrous. What Dujardin and Benigni have in common is that they've both made comedies and neither one of them speaks very good English. That's it.
