Denis Mujovic is the producer and founder of New Ground Productions, based in Utrecht the Netherlands.
With Foundation Cultural Aid in 2006, organised multi-media festival with art from Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, "Eastern Neighbours" and co-founded Eastern Neighbours Film Festival.
He earned his degree of Bachelor of Business Administration at the Utrecht University of Professional Education.
In 2008 produced his first film, involving talented Maya vd Heuvel, Danny Hollander and Mathieu vd Berk, to give the smoking ban of 1 July in the Netherlands not only feature film, but also theatre performance in De Balie, Amsterdam. This film was a part of Dutch "film exchange" with Macedonia in December of 2008, during Cinedays Film festival in the capital Skopje.
The same year in the famous art-house cinema Louis Hartlooper Complex in Utrecht, exploited by renowned Dutch director Jos Stelling, Utrecht, New Ground Productions organised 2nd "Eastern Neighbours Film Festival".
Most notable film/TV projects are with Dutch director Mijke de Jong and her feature film "Joy", winner of 3 national prizes at Dutch Film Festival in 2010, actor/producer Dragan Bakema on TV series, Boijmans TV, and in in 2014 as line producer attached to the project 'Meet me in Venice', a film by Eddy Terstall & Erik Wunsch, a voyage along the route of the Orient Express. A trip from Venice to Istanbul awarded in 2015 with World Cinema Award for best film and best female protagonist at Woodstock Film Festival.
Since 2016 he co-produced short films as Forgive, Reflections Full of life, 1947 and currently working on the development of features, documentaries and other media projects.
Living between Austria and the Netherlands and always close to the Balkan peninsula, whether through his work or privately.
