Natasha Mateus began her journey undertaking a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts at Deakin University before refining her skills in acting at the Howard Fine Acting Studio Melbourne.
In 2009, Natasha performed in 'The Andante Project' curated by Tashmadada, under the guidance of renowned Director Younes Bachir of Spanish theatre group La Fura dels Baus. She went on to produce, write and direct 'Somnambulists' for the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2010.
Since moving to Sydney, Natasha has collaborated on an array of film projects. She has moved from working in front to behind the camera, where she enjoys producing, screenwriting and bringing people together.
Finding herself drawn to the mindful practice of Yoga, she joined the SomaChi Association of Australia and went on to become a Yoga Instructor which influenced the creation of a mindful film production company, Mental Lexicon.
