BIFA-longlisted producer, 2020 BFI Vision Awardee and an alumna of the prestigious UK National Film & Television School, Chiara started out in the British film industry by working in development, sales, distribution and physical production. As an independent she produced a number of award-winning short films backed by Film London, BFI and BBC Films and Elizabeth Sankey's debut documentary "Romantic Comedy", which premiered at SXSW 2019 and went on to play at over 40 festivals worldwide and be distributed in 24 countries. Between 2017 and 2022 she ran a slate of film and television projects backed by BFI, BBC Films and SKY alongside Manon Ardisson for Ardimages UK. In 2020 the two also launched the Mother Tongues Award, a film development scheme backed by Charades, Intermission Film and Curzon, in collaboration with Jack Tarling. In 2022 Chiara moved back to Rome, where she is originally from, to work in development full-time, while continuing to produce UK-based projects. Chiara is an alumna of a number of industry training schemes including EIFF Talent Lab, Sheffield Doc/Fest Future Producers and Creative England Creative Producers Initiative, a BAFTA Connect Member, a BIFA voter and has served twice as a BIFA Subgroup Chair.
